Beta Control Priest, Release Freeze Mage, Wallet Warrior, Miracle Rogue, Patron, Jade Druid, and Midrange Shaman were all either the best decks of their meta or one of them. None of them are aggro. In fact, there have only been four times where aggro heavily out matched control and midrange and that's Face Hunter, Naxx Zoo, Deathrattle Hunter, and Pirate Warrior.

You either go dudes and divine shields, or murlocs.

Murlocs are generally better due to better bodies and early drops, while dudes are better at swarming and infinite value due to cards like SAD (it's playable now wtf), Vinecleaver, and Lost in the Jungle. And swarming with dudes is good because of Tarim value, also Steward of Darkshire shenanigans.

Unless you go all in with murloc aggro list, you're going to need Vilefin Inquisitor, Hydrologist, that 2-mana shattered sun murloc, Warleader, and Gentle Megasaur. Finja is not required unless aggro since you're running more of a value package with strong battlecries instead of smorc stuff like Bluegills.

Argent Protector is still shit.

Tarim is probably the most badass card in the set. He's an unconditional Quartermaster and an Equality in one beefy body. With just 2-3 weenies on board, you can swing almost any boardstate. Absolutely worth crafting if you have any interest in playing paladin.

Wickerflame is not that necessary, still a decent craft imo. He's kinda meh against control, but strong against aggro especially if you pull Redemption off Hyrologist. Many lists opt to cut him for another Spikeridged or an Ivory Knight, but I personally like him.

Tarim is 100% needed, I just don't see any midrange/control deck working well without it.

Lightlord will save your ass many times and is overall a great card. It might seem like lmao just another 8-drop, but it's an 8-drop that needs to be removed asap unless they happen to get lethal the next turn anyway, which they usually don't because of the heal. On top of that, now you're basically guaranteed to pull Getaway Kodo if you want it, which makes cards like this better.

I have 3200 dust and pulled the hunter and warrior quests from my first 35 packs.

This is the murloc pally list I winstreaked to rank 10 with recently.

The shitty thing is I saw literally no fucking pirate warriors on the way up and never got a good play against quest rogues (although I beat them every time anyways so it doesn't really matter), like it was always that I'd either draw them during a time when they didn't have a pirate out or when they got a pirate I didn't draw the golakka.

Probably going to replace them with ivory knights since I don't own steeds yet, or maybe consecrates, which sucks because I'm sure once I take out the golakkas I'll suddenly get all of the pirate warriors because that's my life. Maybe the meta from 10-5 is different, idk, the golakka option is always there at least and they are still a 2/3 for 2. Rest of the deck is solid as far as I've seen though, I've worked on it a lot to come up with this list.

Wickerflame is not meh against control, considering control is a bunch of classes that have damage based removal at the moment. He is just sticky enough that sometimes people don't bother dealing with him unless they can catch him in AOE, which means you have a decent target for pants.

Just play her with dude cards, even with Lost in the Jungle it's a 3/3 and two argent squires for 4 mana. There's no point in making a specifically 1-health minion deck with her because they all suck.

She's not a sticky minion by any means, but Noble Sac and Redemption help.

Lay on Hands is an important pivot to take you into the lategame. I wouldn't cut it. Gentle Megasaur and a murloc is usually all the Curator value you really need.

Just one dragon is not really worth it since you're just as likely to draw the dragon before you can play your Curator. Four in the 8 slot is also a bit too greedy for a midrange list imo. I've seen top-heavy controlly lists with Pyromancers and Dirty Rats be successful, but cutting the murlocs loses you earlygame pressure that beats rogue.

I don't get it man. I don't fucking get it. I can't remember the last time I got any real value off the damn thing, and I'm playing aggro murlocadin. So often it's just literally a dead card, 3 mana do fucking nothing. Maybe sometimes it's an arcane intellect which sucks because to get even that I'd probably have to play it early instead of actually playing more of my shit in hand. Feels like most of the time the stars have to fucking align for it to do anything, it does fuck-all to help me out later in the game if my opponent is successfully holding back the horde in the early-mid game.

Seriously considering replacing them with straight-up lay on hands at this point. As weird as it sounds it can't be worse than 3 mana do fucking nothing, the only time I'd actually need to draw cards is around turn 8 anyways (usually finish using up most of my resources by around turn 7-8), and it has the added benefit of burst heal against aggro decks. Maybe ivory knight, idk. Just at least in this meta divine favor seems like shit 9 times out of 10, no one is really holding onto a million cards anymore not even priest with their silence bullshit.

To be fair the rest of the deck is so broken, it honestly isn't a big deal to play around with the card draw and tech (golakka) packages. Most games are like pic related where people should literally just concede on turn 2 or 3 even though they don't.

I still think divine favor is shitty 9 times out of 10, maybe 8 times. People always remember the 1-2 times it was decent or the 1 in 20 it was fucking godly/game-winning, though, unfortunately. People just don't hold cards in this meta it feels bad, I remember when divine favor would win like half of my games in older metas. Maybe I'll just run 2x LoH like a fucking boss, idkfam.
