Yusuke's autism, actions, dramatic posing, interactions with futaba, and general dialogue are so goddamn entertaining and fun, but I keep sticking to Ryuji because I know he gets Charge and that makes him infinitely mode useful, and he already outleveled yusuke by 4 when I picked him up.

And i REALLY fucking hate Ryuji. His social link, his general ACTUAL stupidity, how obsessed he is with "fame and respect" and how his motives for being a phantom thief make him sound literally like shadow yosuke. I wish I didn't know about the Goro Adechi spoiler. I now hate Adechi so much during the scene when he's trying to bargain a deal with the Phantom Thieves. It's ruining the immersion of the game. It's fine if people talk about spoilers but when somebody runs around screaming "______ is an antagonist!" it's just malicious and asinine.

I imagine if I didn't know about the spoiler I would been more trusting and thought this character was a good because of their recent actions.

I also got spoiled about Goro Akechi being an antagonist just because I was replaying P3P and looked up Loki because I needed to know its level up skill set and didn't just scroll down immediately to the skill table.

So I knew that Akechi was not only a Persona user but that Loki was his Persona. Though to be honest I was suspicious of his lack of Confidant ability previews and when he joined the team, the lack of any while knowing that he gets Loki was the biggest giveaway. I didn't know that he was actually Shido's son or that he was chosen by Yaldabaoth, the true villain of the game.

After the final boss, you get items from each rank 10 SLink that basically give you all the bonuses immediately when you start the relevant SLink again in NG+.

So for example, you get rank 10 with Mishima, he gives you the item, and then the moment you start the SLink with him in NG+ you get all the benefits up to rank 10.

It doesn't rank the SLink itself though, so if you want the max rank persona you still gotta rank it up.

There are two items you get from ranking to max, depending on the person.

Ranking to max normally gives you an item that unlocks the bonuses from the SLink in the next playthrough when you start the SLink again. See >>173862067

Romancing a character does the same in the previous games, where you get the item that boosts how quickly you can rank them up in NG+.

So for example, if you romanced Ann in the first playthrough, the second one you can get bonuses from her SLink immediately while also boosting how fast you can rank up her SLink, where as with Ryuji it will only be the bonuses.
