It's a combination of the limited number of cards in SV, the small board size, and the fact that most cards in SV are enemy/friendly only (i.e. you can't use removal on your own guys).

Once you're used to doing the math yeah, it's pretty fast.

I still play roach because you still have to update your damage total with every draw and always be cognizant of your hand size and the number of slots on your board. Most other combos in the game always deal the a set amount of damage or are even easier to calculate (e.g. phantom howl).

Probably post-gobbu nerf roach because in addition to standard roach math there is the added depth of the decision as to when to play the 0 cost gobbu mage from Feena.

Prior to the nerf you could always just count it as a roach and +1 to your storm count and board slots but the chance of pulling May after the nerf means you have to not only calculate the probability of pulling a roach by keeping track of how many roaches/mays you've drawn but also the decision to play it for tempo becomes much more reasonable.

How does this do better against Dragon then Wolf? With that you're at lest able to burst Dragon down on turn 9 ideally. With all of their healing it doesn't feel like 10 damage on turn 10 is going to close out many games.

Having to decide when you push into your opponent's face and when to hold back for spellboosts is probably the most difficult thing about DS this meta, at least with the Enchanted Blade decks. It was always a thing against aggrobats, but now you have to do it against almost every deck. With people putting in 3 blades along with 3 DShift's there isn't a lot of removal to go around. If anyone wanted to do Rune dailies I'd recommend regular Daria decks, since at least you can hope to get some good draws against Dragon and control skeletons.

I would suggest rerolling on an emulator on your computer and linking the account to whatever you want to play on. It's much less work than manually rerolling.

How to automate rerolling:
1.Download Nox App player, open settings and make sure "Root" is ON
2.Install Shadowverse and Root browser
3.Open Shadowverse
4.Hit Ctrl+9 to open the macro recorder
5.Click the "start/resume" button at the top.
6.Skip through tutorial, open your packs, and open your card collection screen while filtering legendaries
7.Click the stop button, it will save your script

If your reroll is good this is the point where you link your account, otherwise continue to step 8.

8.Close out of the shadowverse app
9.Open Root browser and navigate to data/data/com.Cygames.Shadowverse/shared_prefs
10a.If your reroll is bad delete the file titled "com.cygames.Shadowverse.v2.playerprefs.xml" (click and hold the file until the menu appears)
