Any tips for getting gud with Tracer? I just end up getting super frustrated playing her most of the time because her guns have a kinda wonky spray pattern that's not exactly predictable and she gets 1 shotted or soft countered by most champs in the game, I always seem to get 1 dinked by lucky McCrees or Hanzos and probably the most infuriating blown up by Soldier Pulse Rockets that are literally better than my ult as a regular skill.

Don't get me wrong when I'm doing good with Tracer she's a blast but in this day and age it seems that 90% of the cast isn't efficient at all. Why play Tracer, when you can play Genji and have less counters and more impact, why play McCree when you can play Soldier and be 100% needed and useful in all team comps.

Tracer or McCree are by no means bad characters, on the contrary they can be great in the right hands. I just have to shake my head at the fact that the skull ceilings are so high that it's almost more effort than it's worth to play them over other characters outside of Master/GM/Top-500 play.

Get closer before you shoot

Dodge before you get hit, don't try to react with your blinks (unless of course you're escaping a surprise)

Ult has a bigger aoe if it isn't a stick (citation needed)

Blink mid reload do when exit the blink you are ready to shoot again immediately, your goal is not exactly to kill but to be a never-ending annoyance, if you can one clip someone though you're doing great

Work on your tracking aim and go for high chest to neck area, your spread will crit for you

Go into training and work on your blink adjust, which is how quickly you can relocate your target after you blink

Learn how to remember where you were 3 seconds ago

Most important though, blink management, you want to have them all in a fight and you only want to recall as an absolute last resort

Avoid: Winston, Symmetra

McCree can be baited into flashing and then you just have to kill him faster than he can headshot you

Play this fucking guy right here, disregard all memers that tell you to switch to Lucio, they don't know what the fuck they talking about.

The trick is that in this rating no one can figure out why are they dying so fast for some reason. Their pushes fail miserably, their defense crumbles instantly which causes infighting and tilt. They don't bother killing your first(and it's almost impossible to do if you know your positioning), any flanker or even Winston will have his face stuffed with balls and finished of by your trusty dps. Sneak in cheeky discord on enemy healer and he is dead in seconds to your flanker, discorded pin by Rein is guaranteed kill, fucking PharaMercy, the bane of plat are dropping like flies, hey you even can kill them by your self if you get good with your balls. One of the best defensive ults in game that charges real fast. Cucking out enemy ult orgy never felt so peaceful. And the best part is you yourself can shell out some surprisingly high amounts of damage.

I'm not even joking, literally went from 2600 to 3100 in one evening. If you struggling give Zen a go.

Practice. Adjust control sensitivity. If you Mercy try making left trigger her damage boost. Transitioning between the two becomes way smoother. If you Ana switch biotic grenade with sleep dart. I makes it was easier to shoot the dart while scoped and grenade feels better on the left. Tracer's blink still fucks with people. And of course stick to your roll and stick with your team. Attack Mercys and Lucios that only speed boost might as well not even be there.

Actually you can do fast aiming, You just have to turn your sensitivity up.
I don't play snipers because even with lower sensitivity I can't aim so I choose high sensitivity with tanks and close range heroes and jump around like a maniac.
But that's my playstyle, I suggest you try different characters on different sensitivities to see what suits you.

It happens sure but in this brawl the Tracers and Reinhardts seem particularly fucking reckless. I think it's because they either haven't played these heroes outside of the event, or they've played them a lot and are just used to a 10 second respawn when they do something fucking stupid.
Almost all of my games in Expert have been lost in the courtyard because Rein charged across the map or Tracer tried to 1v1 a Bastion

I once played a game where we had a soldier in the Strike Commander Morrison skin while I was wearing Blackwatch Reyes and I felt I had to stay close.
He went down once and I jumped into a horde of enemies, cleared them and saved his ass.
He returned the favor by just being close enough to heal me when there weren't enough omnics to survive off of.

The only reason I jumped aboard myself is due to the story connection. It's fun seeing the build up and how events are actually evolving between them and how Ana is not always just in the middle but vocally frustrated as well. The 3 have a great dynamic. Jack and Gabe have an even more entertaining dynamic.

My main complaint is that this is my only reason for enjoying the lore. Other characters just aren't as entertaining as the big 3. Part of me wants the train to keep moving along focused on them and at the same time other characters need more spotlight or things are going to fall apart.
