They picked the most boring possible artwork to use as the base for the amiibo for all three...

The dungeons in this game are the one thing keeping it from being the best zelda game of all time for me. They're too short and visually similar, and seem disconnected stylistically from the main world. Would have loved to see a water temple in the zora region and a volcano temple in the fire region.

That being said, there were some interesting mechanics (rotating the bird comes to mind) but overall it left me pretty blue balled.

I decided to try Death Mountain again. I see the second guardian and it's in a position where I'd need to use my only potion that lasts around nine minutes. I have a few guardian weapons on me including one plus weapon and one double plus weapon. Is there some way to bypass as to allow one to sneak around these guys much like you could avoid the monsters on the way to Zora's Domain?

You're basically right. The game is over. The end of the cut scene is the end of reality. No future game will confirm or deny any BotW ships. There will be no DLC that somehow writes a chapter 2 after the end of the game. As things stand right now, Link saved the princess, and the resumed royal duty to protect her as she examines why the divine beasts stopped moving.
