However, over the past 3 months it essentially died and barely peaks 1k nowadays. As a result of this, they announced yesterday that they would be closing Zeth and allowing the players on Zeth to transfer to the other three servers of their choosing.

It is the easiest server to level on.

Been testing out warmane tbc path finding is good, mobs seem a bit overtuned, I have found 3 bugged quests so far and a few wonky wotlk related bugs. Also summoning doesn't seem to work but besides a few minor inconveniences and the classic mangos loot tables the scripting seems pretty solid. Also really enjoying the 5x and lvl 30 mounts after leveling on vanilla for so long.

Strength gives you AP, so try to get strength primarily. However crit rating from agility will be useful later on so try to get some agility as well.

Intellect is helpful just to get a bigger mana pool, but not really worth prioritizing over str or agi. You should keep a dedicated healing set with loads on intellect on it for healing dungeons though, because resto shams are mana hogs and will go OoM fast trying to heal in melee gear (don't be a "DPS shaman", heal dungeons if you need to)

Your choice of weapon is mostly preferential. Using a 1H obviously does lower damage, but opens the option of using a shield for extra survivability while leveling, while using a 2H just does more damage outright. If you asked me I'd recommend keeping both a 1h/shield and a 2H weapon. Mainly use your 2H for easy quests and dungeons, but keep a 1h/shield ready for harder quests. (just keep in mind that you should ask tanks in dungeons if you can roll on shields. If you take a good shield from a tank that needs it as a shaman people will fucking hate you)
