With the Erect Effect you can maintain your teleporter more easily, allowing teammates an easy route to the inside of the enemy base.
It also allows you to build a nest faster due to the teleportation. Since you will likely build your nest in a metal starved area.

People pair Widow with slinger to maintain their metal and fuck around 25 hp comes handy and minis can watch around medikits.
If you can't manage the metal to repair lvl3 Sentry and shoot at the same time, may be it's better for you to equip Panic Attack?
Also, I suggest you to try my latest favorite; FJ+Circuit+Jag. Keep redeploying lvl2s under foes' nose and keep teles up and running in no time.

I never got the "stickies are OP" meme, neither the "sticky spam" meme. I've never had an instance where I felt being killed by a sticky was anything but my fault, even when I was a shitter who got upset about anything remotely cheap killing me years and years ago. If anything, getting killed by terribly placed stickies just shows how shit of a player you are, they're basically rockets that you have to wait for and often if you run out of a demos extremely short range, unless he snipes you (and even then he has to waste time charging his shot,) you're going to get off scott free anyways.

Actually, I'm starting to see a trend here, typically people who overextend are shitters who complain about anything and everything and get their asses handed to them. Hmmm, really makes me think.

The Direct Hit, as it’s commonly cited as being a “balanced” weapon which is “difficult to hit with”. Maybe in lower divisions where the % hit rate isn’t quite so high, the TDH is actually quite balanced. Equip hocz or Punpu with it however and you can imagine just how much of a nightmare the weapon becomes.

Good players already do better by virtue of having stronger dm or a more coordinated team. They don't need random crits to do well. The very existence of random crits is a core design philosophy issue that has absolutely no place in TF2 if the goal is to create a skill based game centered on tactics and teamwork.

What you're hitting on is something I think is a fair, but not always correct point. There's two competitive modes with different focuses 6s and highlander. With the way 6s plays out as a more fast paced, dm heavy format there isn't much place for classes like the ones you mentioned. But the 6s meta revolves more around the weapons that are used rather than any spectacular innovations on the player's part. Sure there have been some, but the meat of 6s is the dm.

I don't think Valve would create a game where 3 of the 6 classes were actually not supposed to be used in a competitive setting. In highlander with one of each class, what ends up happening is a more dynamic meta compared to 6s because without multiples of each class, each role has a function to play on the team. Learning how to be flexible and when to change your playstyle has a huge impact on HL to the point where teams that are strong only in dm but lack coordination can't win in higher divisions.

For manueldiego3574 in a Valve pub however, yes I agree that some of the classes only end up making him feel better about himself without having any understanding of the game around him. But talking about class balance for Valve pubs compared to either of the competitive formats is another issue.
