As a support, when the enemy team has a decent genji, what do you do?

I basically get permanently removed from the game, and nobody in my team bothers switching to him because he fucks off instantly anyways just to dive kill me seconds later

>maybe your teammates keep insta-locking the one of the 4 heroes that you haven't completed it with yet and you can't quit or else you'll get a leaver penalty, so it can potentially take quite a few extra runs if you can't get the hero you need
>maybe you fail on legendary a lot so keep adding 10-15 minutes for each failed run

Also Sombra is surprisingly suuper effective in PVE, Emp charges in like 9 seconds, you do decent damage, and hacking enemies completely freezes them in place and shuts them down. It makes disposing shield guys and bastions so much faster.

Also remember that your heals go in slow build up, not instant, so if say rein is at 80%, 2 darts will get him up to where he needs to be, don't dump 5+ on over healing
Be quick to scope heal your flankers, since they will more than likely be peppered and your heal will easily deal with it

Don't go to war with flankers, if you can afford 1-2 darts or a sleep, do it, but if they know how to skirt you, its best you get your teams attention on it, try to dark and piss bottle the floor with someone near by

With the insanely lenient ally hitboxes for healing, it really isn't that difficult with even a small bit of practice. Just get used to understanding HOW those characters are able to move and you'll start being better at predicting their movements enough that you can get shots close enough to heal.

Honestly, your problem probably isn't mechanical skill at this point, it's more likely that you fail to grasp some fundamental aspect of game sense.

As Genji, it's extremely easy to get tunnel vision while playing and lose track of the positioning of both your team as well as the enemy.

Try to get better at having an innate sense of what's happening in the game at any given time. Be able to tell when a team fight is won or lost and be able to act on it by either pressing the advantage or falling back to regroup. NEVER attack when you're outnumbered, I don't care how sick you are with dragonblade.

Also, try to always be able to predict what ults are going to be available to the enemy. Be able to read when a Pharah is getting ready to ult or when you ABSOLUTELY must hunt down a Mercy before she can rez.

Ana does 25% more healing with her biotic rifle if she fires non-stop and lands every shot, not counting reloading time.

Grenade is the only thing allowing her to keep up.

My review of the non-strike team heroes I've played the PvE event with in Hard or greater difficulties:

Soldier: not as good as one might think. Small clip size hurts him and his ult usually doesn't have much of an impact

Pharah: above average, solid DPS choice, powerful ult. Squishy.

Junkrat: quite strong but the way his grenades jostle the bots around may make it a pain in the ass for your team

Hanzo: increbily strong especially if you can consistently land headshots. Ult is basically cheese in some situations as it can annihilate an entire wave of enemies or snipe enemies behind cover. Mediocre/weak if you can't headshot.

Reaper: really bad, has to be close to the action and health globes don't spawn from every enemy.

I postulate that Symmetra would be incredibly strong in this mode since you can just sentry up the payload to melt Slicers and just microwave everything else nonstop. Genji seems like he'd be good too since he'd be able to spam Swift Strike a lot.

If you have orisa, pharah/mcree just need to stand behind the shield and leftclick forever.

Bastion/Orisa is maximum cheese, they both absolutely murder bot waves, Orisa's ult easily counters miniboss waves.

Symmetra is a bit wonky but if she sets turrets up where bots spawn she gets about 50% of all kills. Her M1 melts bots but she needs ranged heals (zen/ana)
