I might end up stonewalled by the Dark Espers trial. The only good legitimate units I have are Y'shtola, Firion, Cecil, Ling, Xon, Dark Fina and Minfilia and I have to level up Minfilia. At least I might be able to give the cat Barwatera and have her cast both Barfira and Barwatera.

Yeah, the only other mage BSBs I have are Alphinaud's and Hope's.

It seems that we got the esper damage buffs early in global BE. That makes the Ifrit and Siren summon missions more attainable, though I'll wait until Garnet gets her 6* before doing that since she will fill the bar thanks to her passive.

I guess my goal when the Dark Esper trial hits is to kill Ifrit as fast as possible before turning my attention to Siren. Hopefully Ifrit keeps his weakness to water so that I can smash it with DC Waterga before switching to DC Thundaga for Siren. MP management will be no problem thanks to Ling and a likely Noctis friend so that I can use his cover. My Dark Fina is going to like Siren's Robe as it is a strict upgrade over the Cupid's garb she is wearing now. Hopefully I can also get the no allies get KOed mission done as well so that I can get Greatsword Mastery materia.

The last one I played was FFXII and I kinda disliked it because it looked too much like a PC RPG.
I could barely remember the name of most of the characters after finishing it, the story was almost inexistant and there was none of the comfy/funny stuff I liked in a Final Fantasy.

Why do people say that RK's gacha is fair? What meme is this? Even though you can use your favorite characters, that doesn't mean shit if they aren't good. Yeah there are barely any off-banners when you pull, but it still take 50 Mythril to pull and that is a lot of grind. Remember the days of no garenteed 5*? But what if you want a specific high tier relic? You are basically fucked if you only get SSBs on your pulls. Just because the gacha is better than BE gacha where units reappear rarely and rates are garbage ,doesn't mean it is good. Take FE Heroes for example. It only takes 20 Orbs to summon, and you can pull out of the summon pool. But if you stay in and you are unlucky, the rate of getting a 5* increases

There's no universal stat for hybrids, it all depends on which one goes higher.
Her MAG can go higher than her ATK, so it's optimal to boost it as high as possible. The fact that Letters and Arms stacks in GL is no small contribution to this.

She actually has the highest MAG in the game right now, probably won't be beat until Trance Terra.

No, purecrysts are also hard to get, if not harder.
They cost 100k fucking mogcoins, so you're never going to actually get them from events. The only time you will get some is from Story Event missions, but it's a slow, slow trickle.

Ironically, Tier 4 crystals are going to be the bottleneck, not Tier 5 ones.

Some enchantments take 12 Tier 4 crystals, but only 3 Tier 5 ones to get to +2. And Tier 5 ones can be bought from the Moggle King once per event (100k currency, though). Sidestory events give you normally 2x Tier 4 and 2x Tier 5.

Tier 4 can also drop in Gem Vortex, but the droprate is complete ass, way below 5%. Don't even think about farming that shit until we get Raven Cloak many months later if you value your NRG and sanity.

If you can, always prioritize Red and Green crystals. Everything else is just pure garbage that will pile up.

Could have gone for at least the red crystal during the FF15 event, too, but I'm currently sitting on eight Tier 5 crystals (ten after the latest Gaiden finishes), so I don't see a point.
