Alright lad, I'll humor you and respond.
The True Hero is one of, if not the best, older brother in FF, all he did for Larsa was to try and prepare him for life and for his position in it, and he made all reasonable attempts at protecting him. That Larsa repeatedly ran off on his own was not due to the True Hero, as he had Larsa constantly protected and guarded with judges. Short of duct taping the kid to the floor or some equally ridiculous thing, the True Hero could not have done more to protect and help him.
The True Hero has never done anything of a lewd nature to Larsa, do not imply such things, and he also never "evicted" Larsa from anything, that's a hilariously unbased claim.
Larsa didn't know about the True Hero's hand in Gramis' suicide, and likely didn't until after the events of the game, and this was for good reason. Larsa is still a child, and cannot be expected to posses the reason skills of an adult, thus could not be expected to properly understand the value of such actions until he was significantly older. The reasons behind Gramis' death were far from selfish, and the action served to help Larsa significantly in the long term, as he would not have to deal with the Senate either.
Larsa's emotions are his own fault, and secondarily the fault of the main party for their role in convincing him to go against the True Hero; had Larsa never come in to contact with the main party he would not have had most of those issues at all and would not have been turned against his brother.

I kind of miss playing that. The FF influence is a little weaker than the DQ one, and the story is a bit goofy even for a JRPG. It is still a fun game to play. Combat is the best part obviously; it even had some DLC content. Most notable was the harder difficulty DLC and the Shuffle Dungeon DLC (which was near the end of the game). No, it's specifically dual katana, making it a straight downgrade for 90% of JP units and an even worse downgrade for GL.
The ATK+30% is a nice boost, but only if you ignore the fact that most units have passives for equipping other weapons.
Furthermore, the strongest katana is only 120 ATK and is locked into the fire element.

Most units have passives for euipping things, usually swords or greatswords. Equipping two katanas means you lose this passive, so even with the extra 20% ATK you typically lose more than this.

In GL this is going to be even more pronounced since we need multiple different Mastery materias to make up for it, e.g. Blade Mastery and Greatsword Mastery at the same time.

Most units get at least 50% ATK from equipping certain kinds of weapons. By equipping two katanas, you lose that 50% boost in favor of the 30% one. That's 20% less attack in addition to the lack of freedom, which is not very good.

Cid meaning Orlandeau? His awakenings, if awakenings followed JP, would take 7 months. Considering Orlandeau himself was delayed, I don't doubt his awakenings will also be delayed, so yeah, expect 6 months or more minimum.
For the first loadout of awakenings, the only ones worth considering are Rain, Mercedes, Lightning, and Seven.

The secret trap is that after a few events, the fifth kind of rock won't be that hard to accumulate. The fourth kind of the rock, though? Only comes from the vortex, and it's 10x rarer than sacred/holy crystals.

I am fully versed in how rough acquiring the fourth flavor of crystal is. It's simply a matter of time, though. The event-limited ones come in droves. And there's going to be plenty of time between awakening events. There always is.
It's not that hard to stay on top of awakenings in JP so long as you're not raising up the blatant junk units.
