the trick is actually to be caught in close.
There are 3 ranges to spirit sword, point blank, half way, just the tip
Point blank will always hit, so you use it in combos. If you are against your opponent they can not block it or anything because the hitbox is too close
Half way can be avoided so it only works on those that don't know how shit it is, but half way strikes can hit up to 2 times and do so reliably.
Just the tip is the most useless spot, you will only ever hit them once but they have years to evade and some rare times spirit sword might not even hit.

and that is spirit sword for you. only ever use it against scrubs and if you are point blank. or you are just wasting Ki

You can use it in a string uncharged/quick release hold to quickly drop the opponent to the floor and continue attacking, I think. Forcing them to vanish and putting the game back near the ground, advantageous for those with bad stam regen normally, and who have hard knockdown combos.
Near max hold sends the opponent flying but also finishes the attack earlier than usual, allowing you to follow up with a boost dash light. It's difficult to hit consistently IMO.

An example of the difficult timing. This is what I'd do if I'm too far from the ground on a sub 2bar opponent and I'm concerned about a step cancel juggle recovering opponent stam before I can land a vanish cancel string into super. Issue is the limited array of supers that can follow a boost dash heavy.
Aside from that, you can follow up with a boost light instead in case your race doesn't have a real comboable step cancel or something crazy. Or, if you hit with a string that doesn't have it.
The drop to the ground use is more what I feel it's for, but since SF is easily punished if vanished, it's more an option that a go to. Two uses for one super is still alright in my book.

Fridges can pretty much heal from anything that doesn't kill them if they receive medical care and actively re-attach whatever was lost.

That's the reason Cell was able to restore from so much shit that Piccolo couldn't. Fridges are incredibly resilient.

I don't know, I used Ace as my "XV1 Hero." Just headcanon'd that he was some hotshot that was the best in the TP after Ardei, Majora, and Gryffis were out of action. Instead of Goku, Ardei saves Majora from Final Mira's blast in that cutscene.

Well I'm gonna post this anyways.

Looking for criticism on it, I may have messed some stuff up proportion wise, or maybe just general things I just didn't happen to notice.

Obviously let Buula know when she gets back online, figured I'd just draw since I wasn't tired instead. Also since we had the argument last thread, just tell me if something sucks shit, I don't mind at all, its no big deal, no use having another argument over, even if I can argue like a dick all day if I want.

your illusion of depth is fucked. get a better sense for what you're drawing as a 3d object by doing a skeleton of spheres and tubes first
torso tad too long, legs too thin compared to everthing above them, and both the line under the boobs and the line indicating the navel have been placed where you expect to see a line rather than where you should be a line. You see lots of people make the same mistake where trying to draw a clavicle. Again, you gotta think of it as a 3d object and from there where the shadows of creases and folds and indents would be, rather than 'this is where everyone else puts a line, right?'

Much needed criticism. A few of things I did notice myself, which is why I did tell her it would take a bit for the final thing, but I figured I'd throw some brief thing together real quick just to see how it works. Left some general primary stuff in there, such as the lines you mentioned, which now that you mention, yeah they are off, aren't they?

The thin/longness, I definitely noticed and just something I was going to fix later when redrawing it. But yeah I noticed some things you said, some others I didn't, its late. But appreciate it, I'll fix them for the final thing.
