You know it's funny because when I first joined here I got a lot of hate for my character's design. I spent a lot of time promoting a wholesome image though and I think it stuck... mostly. Coloring and lines are two altogether different beasts.

Toufe: Kaiokens as hard as she can, while charging ki, which effectively destroys her body as she regenerates it. Tiny pieces of her body spread out so as to inflict the most of the self damage spread thinly as it can, essentially becoming conduits of ki to contain all that power outside a body incapable of handling it.
The mode's super powerful and fast, but extremely glass cannon and she burns out in 30 seconds or from the first non graze hit she takes and goes unconscious. If she takes a strong ki blast within that extended field of ki, she'll explode too.
Eventually she'll use it so often her body adapts to regenerate conduits as she's burning it away with the technique activated to extend the duration and durability, but certain things won't keep up and that's when really bad shit's gonna happen to her.
1-Tone Mian can destabilize the opponent's Ki by grabbing them and unloading all the ki she's absorbed. It drains them both at the same rate however, the destabilization causes the opponent to shoot it out randomly from their body causing wanton destruction, and the first person to lose all their ki explodes. She can't contain very much being a first line model, so it seldom has any use beyond stalling, or blowing her arm off just to deal some damage. Opponents with good ki control can counteract it and throw her off to boot.
She has an AOE version of it like Super Ki Explosion, only for its massive range, it doesn't deal damage, but wipes as much stamina and ki of the opponent proportional to stored, if unguarded. She also shuts down for 1 minute and still loses all her stored energy.
Spina arms key/vital points on her body with on contact explosive darts. They're as powerful as she can make them (not much considering PL) and each explosion drains ki, it's very much an all out form that stakes everything on creating an opening. She can even trigger them herself to jettison around the opponent, but takes damage from it.

Psychosa (appropriately enough) has mind control abilities, but she's terrible at them, so when she does try to actually use them, it equates to mind rape of the highest possible degree.

It's so horrifying and wrong that despite it giving her the inspiration for her "name" (Her real name is Cutie, don't mention it or she'll freak out), she's never used it more than once because she sees it as that horrible, even if she idolizes and fangirls over pretty much every bad guy there is.

I need to make a female character....

"Sperging" ahead, you've been warned

lord knows their the only ones that will get quality art, attention and interactions around here... sure yea argue that there are male characters that get attention, i wont disagree.

However i will say that when something like butt-posting is going on or when everyone is having a big interaction of mostly females (which is what this community is at its core with main bulk CACs), i guarantee that you will most likely be ignored by the group as a whole regardless of your attempts at interacting (unless you really try to yell and force yourself in there, but that will probably get you called a sperg or ignored more).

Your one chance is to make a male character that decides to be a pervert and tries to say lewd things and play the "im going to fug everything" role, they will probably get some art or even some involvement. But at the end of the day if your not thinking/ acting lewd or if you dont have a female character that everyone adores, you will probably be cast aside
(unless your the one making art in which case you can make whatever you want and so long as you draw, good people will love whatever character you make... but it better be lewd!)

Now im not entirely knocking artists in this community, they draw what they want to draw. If its butts its butts if its something else its something else. They have aright to do that. Its just frustrating seeing that and then on top of being ignored when anything is going on even if you are attempting to really be cool with people, but butts and lewds just drown you out...

i guess thats what you get with a 98% male community though... jacking off and being horny is all they want to do

yes you're generalizing but I just wanted to point out that one part about the art, also interactions wise, matos was popular for a time, okran gets some love, other male saiyans like Aticho are fairly well received, fridges get lots of banter then and again (and not just laciem's dick hunting adventures).
if your only point is that the majority apply to your complaints, well alright. you can't take the lust out of men. especially on a imageboard crawling with degenerates.

There's several problems with male CaCs that compounds the issue:
-Male CaC customisation is pretty limited in comparison to females
-DBZ is filled with male characters as it is, with little females in an actual fighting role
-Female characters might just be fun to play for people. All of them have really solid strings.

I don't think those with male CaCs are -cast aside- though. That's too harsh. Their players are certainly appreciated greatly. But males aren't exactly great to waifu unless you're gay or are a girl irl.

Personally, it's kinda hard for me to make a male character in the same way I make female characters. I don't know why, but I can't really make proper protagonists out of male characters anymore. I just make memes (pic very much related). These days, female characters are just more engaging if I want a proper character to build. Dunno why, I might be addicted to waifus. Even my XV1 Patroller is my own waifu, and she's a very shitty one.

Buttposting and lewdposting can get a bit much sometimes. I'm not knocking those people but it's a bit unnerving when you don't have a drive like they do. It's like you don't really belong. And as for myself I get conflicted on whether or not I should embrace or leave it because I'm really uncomfortable with that sorta thing unless it's by myself.

I do agree with you on many of those points and i think your last bit really sims up my feelings better than my original post did.

Id like to make a female CAC and i would like them to get attention, but i would also like to make a fridge/namek/MM/ or male in general without having to resort to stupid stuff.

The same goes for making a female character, i dont dislike them, really i dont, i just dont want to go and dress them "provocatively" all the time or butt post or be a "slut" (as some people call it).

As with you, im not entirely sure whether or not to "take the plunge" into just being lewd or not, i can see it getting old pretty fast and the thought of just getting attention because of lewd screens or being lewd... i dont know seems like cheating myself i guess (im not sure how it makes me feel).

Like i could come up with a good backstory for the character, plot, lore, personality, etc. but in the end all i would be doing is just "oh no dont look at my butt" *posts screenshot of butt somewhere* or some otherwise lewd thing and no one would really care about the stuff that i came up with (unless its a gimmick that can be worked into lewd, like hiney ho and wrestling or spats and being fem trunks)

spats is one of the ones who i will give 100% credit to, because as far as i know they almost never lewd, the lewd comes to them. But they are one of the only ones i can actually think of that doesn't dress lewd or act lewd and still gets a good amount of attention, though that also might be because of tenure, but im not going to use that as an excuse .

I do need to draw more male characters, and I'm personally kind of excited to, but at the moment they're not a priority. For several reasons, actually (commissions, interest, etc.)

Honestly part of the problem is largely due to the awful customization present in both games; there's just so little you can do with what we've got. So male characters, again, personally, are harder for me to notice right off the bat. Satsu and that Uncle Cletus guy were the two that stood out the most for me (along with Zanzi but he's a given), and I still haven't gotten around to drawing them.

Give it time.

I think Shyne is about the only person to pull off the kid chi-chi clothes. everyone said they were a megaslut at the start but Shyne quickly dispelled it all by talking about being a hero and stuff. And yea im all for "focusing on having fun" (dumb shit is relative to the character, maybe i want to be serious, maybe thats how i have fun, whatevs) but when you're kind of ignored at various junctions just because you are not participating in the current lewd moment (or otherwise) it gets to be taxing, maybe not all the time, but over time. Especially if your not well know and trying.

Sometimes if you make a character and have something with them, it might not fit, people might not cling to it, even if you try for a long time, then you WILL have to change the way you go about it, you will have to change something if having a good time to you means interacting with other people (or people interacting with your character).

Everyone always says "well dont worry about attention, dont worry about this or that, just do you, just have fun" yea you can do you for a long time, but if i just wanted to do me i wouldn't have tried to interact with a community, there is a certain time when having fun with other people (for some) does require worrying about attention.

Its not so easy for everyone to just have fun the same way...

I don't want to change things up but that's almost how it is. There are a few of you who maintain your original characters and it works for you, maybe because of who your character is, maybe because of your interactions, maybe because the memes are strong, I don't know. But for some others it feels like we need to do that. Maybe you will see a new butt around in due time or maybe you won't see or get to know my cac at all and they will just fade into the back because I don't meet the standards.... I don't know.

Well yea, if you can draw everyone wants to be your friend because they have a chance at getting a free picture, especially if it's someone who actively does commission works for money (bonus points if it is porn).
It's even better if those people know how to appeal to the artist with what they like, i.e something sexy. Then the artist draws a lewd of someone else's character and that person gets something free that may be within their own taste too, rinse repeat (some can even sneak in some "hey if your drawing X could you put in Y too?" To get their own fetish, etc. desires included)

Not saying everyone does it, but boy you know there are ones that do. They may be doing it right now.
