i feel like all the regen talents are underwhelming, +50 regen is basically negating 50 damage per second, at that point of the game you dont need to have hp sustain from a talent, and doom has alot of items cause midas + devour. I think the blade is way better.

So is Enigma still viable?
I just won a total stomp with him. I could have picked just about anyone and won honestly, the enemy team was trash but I'm sure I sped things up. Anyways, his jungle clear is fast, the problem is the longer respawn timer and the fact I never learned the timings for the new jungle stacking and I'm bad at micro. Still, 10 minute Soul Ring Blink Boots, 17 minute arcanes mek, Greaves by 22 and would have had Aghs but the game ended at 26. 550 GPM which I feel I could probably bring up at least 50 if I got gooder at jungling.

I also try to rush midas, but if im laning against a duo offlane, or just getting ganked too much, i just go items that help me survive. Aquila, boots, and rain drops. Good investment in my opinion.
Of course i get my midas later, but its not like im less stronger before my midas. its not 100% necessary to get it early.

Any tips on how to get out of 2k?
I know I have to get good but the team picks at this level look like they pick to throw. I stopped picking core because sometimes you can have 4 or more cores on a team but then you also get cores who do weird things like in my last game, I was safelane supp and the lc would keep jungling instead of staying in lane leaving me alone and he would also take the stacks I wanted to use for pulling.

Defense of the Ancients 2, it's what Dota2 is based on, although they took heavy liberties with balance and general mechanics. Comeback mechanics are insane in Dota2 while Defense of the Ancients 2 was pretty punishing and if you let the enemy Anti Mage freefarm he would just 1v5 you by minute 40.
All in all I think it's an okay spiritual successor, but it'll never be as good as the game it was based on.

I'd say Shadow Shaman and Disruptor are also great supports in any lineup. They combo real well, but don't need to combo to do their job either.

Also Juggernaut is THE generic carry. He doesn't require any teammates to function, and is actually a fantastic splitpusher especially now that splitpushing got buffed. He can take rax real fast once he has a few items, great farming, great teamfight, great escape.

I actually prefer Centuar, he may not be a one man army so to speak, but you need at least three people and 10 seconds of hard disable to properly kill him late game. Even in the midgame sometimes, if he got decent farm. I started using him way back when I was starting dota, because I sow someone literally stomp us into hte dirt with him, and discovered to my delight that he has one of the most bullshit escapes in the game stampede was one hell of a drug and is extremely forgiving to mistakes so long as you get a pipe or cloak

Centaur is an okay jungler, the main problem is it forces you into a less than idea skill build. Return isn't very useful compared to Double Edge or Hoof Stomp early. I get a value point in it just to make the enemy support take some counter harass and to maybe set them up for a double edge kill if they get too aggressive.
But yeah, Centaur is such a strong laner, running him jungle is a waste. And a lot slower than someone like Axe or Bloodseeker or Enigma.

Axe is a great jungler most people just make the mistake of either staying there too long or not staying long enough. His clear is insanely fast, and blink blademail is free kills.
A lot of Axes I see get blink and try to farm their blademail with blink instead of getting a kill with the blink reveal then going back to jungle for a bit longer.

He CAN be a strong laner as well, but a lot of heroes that are meta right now just shit on the guy and he can't solo offlane against dual ranged unless they're retarded or something. He's best to run in a dual lane.

He's one of the best counters to Slark in the game even. No other hero forces Slark to buy a BKB quite like Disruptor.
Glimpse is such a strong skill, it's why he's general use. No other support has catching power like Disruptor does, and his ult is game winning too. Especially with Aghs.

He's pretty par for the course as far as stats go. He has above average skills, Thunder Strike does 160 damage at level 1 and he has 600 attack range, making him extremely good at level 1 trading/kills/early lane in general. Also, his cast range is HUUUUUUUGE. Most supports have 400-700 cast range on their stuff. Their stronger spells also have lower cast range generally.
Not Disruptor, his lowest cast range is 800 and his stuff has fuckhueg AOE to boot, a talent that increases cast range by a further 100 (which isn't that good but 60gpm is laughable), and Aether Lens combos extremely well with his already massive cast range, the talent, and his +10% Spell Amp talent.
His 400HP talent is also really great but that gets down to how much are you getting jumped on which to pick. I get both talents about 50/50, the extra damage is incredibly good but so is the extra health.
And Veil is an excellent item for Disruptor too. Armor, more spell amp, stats, regen, it's great.

Shadow Demon is a lot less powerful if there's no stat heavy heroes to Disrupt, Skywrath can barely function against Pugna, Phoenix fares poorly against a lot of heroes that can either purge or don't care about Fire Spirit's attack slow, Dazzle is soft countered by Axe, there's basically no reason to pick Ancient Apparition unless you're doing it to counter Lifestealer or Alchemist.
Could go on.

There's no one hero that just makes Disruptor not function well. A lot of supports have bad matchups, and technically he does too, but it's shit like Sniper or PA that can kill him before he can get spells off.
