If the protagonist is OP. Then that's just a part of his character and thus a point of the show. You're watching it to see him kick Ass. But if the villain is OP, then he's only like that to manufacture cheap conflict that pat's out the protag's mission/quest.
Villains should challenge the protagonist in creative ways that force him/her to think outside the box. One of the reasons the Joker is so famous is because by all accounts Batman is on paper superior to him in every single facet, yet he finds a way to create conflict nonetheless in creative ways.

Pretty much all the DLC, I have them on my 360 from the shivering isles disk I used like 10 years ago but there's no way to transfer it to Xbone. I'm trying to add to my digital library going forward since Phil has repeatedly said all xbox games are forwards compatible, you will always have access to your xbox games going forward.

I don't really hate the idea of environment/dialogue focused sections in theory, and I actually think the first one isn't terrible. Well obviously saving time and resources was a factor, possibly the original factor. But they at least did something cool with it, and took narrative and thematic steps to at least justify it.

With Autumn and the Maw, you're escaping the Covenant and taking refuge on Halo, and in Maw you're doing almost the opposite. Yes it was probably just a justification for using the same assets twice, but they added purpose to it.

I want to say something about the inversion of AOTCR in Two Betrayals, but the ideas I have are kind of half formed currently so obviously I'm nervous about saying something retarded I didn't give enough thought to. Basically I'm looking at how you end by hooking cortana (your source of intel and direction thus far, into the control room to learn about Halo and "achieve control" of your situation which thusfar has been chaotic. You then have no direction in 343, which is reinforced by how chaotic the level layout is and the flood coming from no discernible source. Then guilty spark takes the place of cortana as far as giver of direction and information, and what follows is maybe the most straightforward level in the game. But it turns out he was lying to you, giving you an illusion of information and control. You went to the Control Room to figure out what Halo was, and spent a mission and a half working off of faulty assumptions. At the beginning of two betrayals, you are actually kicked out of the Control Room, and I shouldn't need to spell out what that means in this context. I'm also wondering if Guilty Spark's design was meant to literally represent a bright light leading you into a trap.

Again all this might be retarded it's just stuff I've been thinking about recently. All I'm saying is that it seems to be forgivable that they explicitly reused assets because of what they did with it.

Also, CE's story is more symbolic and "mythic" than the other games's in general.
