Its not that they get destroyed only.
Its that its hard to have a good board with followers and be prepared with rites on board.
Especially if you want to run junos. there is barely any space left for other followers since rites take so much space.

Aggro blood is 5 golds for 3 vania and 2-3 vampire fortress
Cursed storm royal is 1-2 golds. Shadowed is really only there for if you get stalled you can clear and re-cloak. Banner memes is pretty cheap as is aggro royal using fangblades for a closer.
OTK disconewt dragon's 5-6 golds but the 3 breaths are core dragon and the 3 altered fate are core ptp neutralcraft
Aggro forest can drive on 3 gold roaches
Storm haven is 5 golds for 3 garuda and 1 valhallan
Tempo spellboost rune can get by with just 3 Levi's
Budget aggro shadow has 0 golds and tries to close out with cursed soldier+board on t7

Neutralcraft's really just the 2 gold wind gods. The 2 uriel are for spear consistency which is important but you'll live for a week to get the vials for them

Aggro Blood is probably going to be the "best" of the ez-tier accessible decks.

It's fast enough that it can occasionally beat Dragon while it's trying to set up, does the same to Haven with having storm followers to try and break through the endless removal and it can (sort of) race shadow, especially if they're a bad player.

D-Shift also has a new variant that doesn't require legendaries and is at least semi-competitive, due to a turn 7~ish clock.

Not the guy you're responding to but;

There's a few different variants of "aggro blood." I don't think I've seen a variant of the older "unga bunga me go face" that's been changed at all or with any of the newer cards. And if it would use any, it's Soul Dominator over any Alucard's that you would have run(if you had any at all).

There's also an Airjammer version that I've seen a few different lists for, usually plays slightly more midrange. And then there's also a Mastema version that's a lot more midrange with Stolen Life's and 2~ Soul Dominator.

The aggro shadow list on game-ai doesn't run Echtar's at all(see image), that's mostly midrange.
And even there it's mostly as a win condition with a full board for the +2 attack, and can arguably be replaced with Wind God to vaguely similar effect.
