Play the original triolgy first maybe if you think the animations would ruin your immersion, if so come back to andromeda in a few months time. I have to be honest and say the animations are not good at times the quality goes up and down, but they aim to improve.

They have already fixed some of the most jarring ones and made the eyes not look so demonic. That being out of the way, its not as bad as people say. Its a good game it just needs to work out some of the kinks.

Don't get me wrong, andromeda is good. And i really enjoy playing it, i'm on NG+ currently. But i still think you should play the OT, since they are really fun games.

Why is Mass Effect: Androgynous so fucking boring when compared to the trilogy (Well, maybe not the first one). I find myself on Elaaden and lo and behold yet another fucking desert planet. That reallykilled my interest, Then there are all the mmo tier objectives and sidequests. I have so many of those fucking side objectives I never plan on finishing, and the completionist in me HATES that. Only priority and loyalty missions have been really fun. Fuck is exploring in the Nomad getting dull, especially the mining nonsense. Why it couldn't just be a *boop* node and move on.

This is exactly what happened with DA3. I get completely burnt out by the end of the game, no more enemy variety, the game becomes a stomp even on Insanity, and very repetetive. I really do miss the "self-contained" stories and areas of the trilogy, I mean normally corridor-on rails type gameplay isn't my thing, but it really worked in ME, 2, and 3.

Maybe I just need to wait and recharge my F U N batteries.

Depends on the gun. It doesn't scale the same with each weapon.

Soned is amazing with it. 100 round magazine, really fast recharge even if you overheat. You almost never stop firing.

This is what turned me off Sarissa too. It wasn't the action in general, which was right. It's that she supposedly believed she was right but refused to be open about it and tried to hush it just to protect her own ass and reputation. The way they portrayed it made it clear that it was personal and not about sparing the Asari's feelings.

Voted for Peebee as my favorite! She's just so dorky, funny and crazy. I loved her character arc and her banter is the best with the other squad mates so she never left my squad. She's managed to become my favourite Mass Effect character.
