In like 4 hours, all that really happened was

Nice natural colours and nice fur pattern. Hair colour matches the fur colour well. Armour dyes are a bit dull. Overused chestpiece, but Charr medium chestpieces are kinda hard to come by. Horns are a little long for my liking, but not too bad.

You can swap stat with the mystic forge as many times as you want. Each swap eats an insignia of the swapped to stat though and remove any rune.

Your only hope is to visit ERP hotspots and meet people. Try guesting into the Tarnished Coast server if NA or Piken Square if EU and exploring Divinity's Reach. The Black Citadel has a lot of charr perverts idling around, too. Rata Sum has occasional RP and, if you're an asura, a random perv might message you if you're dressed a certain way or act a certain way. The uninstanced Salma district is a good place to start at Divinity's Reach but any of the taverns will do. There's also the tavern at Ebonhawke which is accessible from the Rurikton district.

They cared about PvP and threw way too much into it. Fact is, PvP was never going to take off and be le next mega esports. They didn't need to do any more than just providing new maps/modes on a semi-consistent basis (didn't happen). Instead, they threw way too much money at those twitch streamers catering to everything they wanted even though right now they're all playing other games LMAO
Raids should have never been a thing. At most, raid components should have been added to dungeons. Instead nope, now we have dungeons (dead), fractals (only ran due to dailies), and raids (spergs).
At this point, I have a theory that anet is fully committed to trying to kill themselves, but somehow keep going because people actually keep buying gems.

yes, use basic kits for green/blue/whites and master kits for rares or higher
mats are becomming more expensive because anet did a dumb (especially leather)
people also salvage rares with master kits for chances at Globs of Ectoplasm, an item that is used in tons of crafting and also a kinda form of currency
(it started in gw1, dont ask) but its rare and sells for alot so people stock up (they drop is amounts of 0-3 with an average of 0.75 per rare)
you can find kits sold at any normal merchant in tons or even out in the field
