Mystic vs Priest?

I'm want to get an extra character slot and i'm going for something different than the usual. This time i want to play with one of the "support class". My only problem is the ping (170ms) but ive heard they are the best ping-friendly classes.

The only time i've played as healer was years ago in ragnarok. What should i go for?

ps: I aim for easy-medium dungeons like LKNM/HM and mass pvp.

you have a lot more "uh oh i fucked up" buttons to save yourself if your ping fails you

if you plan on doing easy/med dungeons such as LKN/H an aoe cleanse is your best bet for the 2nd boss and you can plague 3rd boss safely with your lock on in HM

mass pvp is great with priests as you have kaia's shield for multiple people, guardian's sanctuary for reduced dmg and stun resistance, and your cleanse is a no-KD animation

Hello /terag/. I just started playing TERA (lvl 37). I play as a Popori Priest. Gimme some pro tips for a newbie.

Also, is this game really that strangely balanced around levels? Like I am level 37 but have quests for <30 lvl so I oneshot all mobs and mini bossess.

Depending from your server, you should probably join a guild to get help.

To level up quickly, spam dungeons.
You can usually skip yellow quests.
Think your shortcuts carefully.
Keep yourself alive in priority. You first, the tank second, and the other faggots third.
Use the Triple Nemesis's glyph that lowers defense. It's really good.

mobs are rebalanced bit stronger in Valkyrie patch so they're generally one-shot on your level.

As far I recall healers are pretty weak on healing on lower levels, only at 65 when you upgrade all your glyphs you restore much HP.

Don't trust on Focus heal only, Healing Circle is prolly strongest heal you got. > 60 you get stronger Immersion, which is stronger Focus heal but long cooldown (and chance to reset it). Also around 60 you get shield which is usually you can use before mechanics, or spam to keep party's HP up on low damage attacks, like boss back swipes.

That gives you time keep up buffs which priest has 2. Triple Nemesis to lower enemy endurance for 12 sec and Energy Stars to give power+attack speed buff for 20 sec.

Yellow quests are old quests. They're hidden by default since there are tons of them and newer quests have been added and such so hiding them won't clutter the minimap with quest marks. Most are not repeatable; some of the kill x mobs y times for z tokens were repeatable but they were probably removed nowadays. Some quests give achievement points if you're going for a laurel (not sure if they still do). They're probably not worth doing, but some quests you can complete anyway if you know you'll be clearing the objectives on the way (like clearing mobs in a dungeon).

Hear me out for a second. Valkyrie patch is just about 36 hours away for NA. People will want to talk about said valkyrie patch when it comes out so there will be something to discuss, but instead of just waiting, some of you want to bump the thread every hour while no discussion is happening for the sake of keeping it alive, but why? I know some of you like /terag/ and want it to keep going, and so do I, but when it's this dead there's literally no discussion going on. What do you like so much about that? Your friends aren't posting or it would be alive. Why are you prolonging its death for barely any reason when you could just wait a day and post then just like you did in the days when /terag/ was lively.
