I hate to say it, but Andromeda might have killed my investment in the series. I like the list of fixes they're putting out, and if they continue like that for a while, maybe they'll have most of the technical issues sorted. Maybe I'll give it a shot again if some major DLC comes out, but I just don't want to play this again. The experience was already fucked.

ME:A was game Bioware had sold to me on the benefit of the doubt. I was going to buy it basically no matter what anybody said because of the title. They don't have any more goodwill built up. Hopefully they get their act together, because their next game will actually have to be sold on it's merits.

Not really. I don't like dragon age (except I did play some DA:I just before ME:A which is how I saw how they're just ubisofting it but with an even worse formula). I like ME2, might be a sidequest and arrival wasn't good, but I liked how focused it was despite how much stuff they removed. ME3 I'm kind of neutral on.

The reason ME3 didn't do that for me was that ME3 was their shitty entry, meaning ME:A was their chance to get it right again. They fucked up their second chance.

I appreciate the fixes they want to do, but I'm feeling really burned with how I'm never going to experience the best version of this game for the first time. It's always going to leave a sour taste in my mouth. Even if they fix every single technical and visual bug, there's still going to be shitty MMO foundations they won't fix anyway. Man, I really wanted to like this game.
