Remove the ability to fire from smoke. They can still hide in it to escape and secondaries can fire but if they fire main guns then they're spotted.

Everything else is marginally different, the torpedo belt might save you from those oh shit moments when you accidentally end up in a swarm of torpedoes. Not that it minds, but when an anon made the effort of creating a ranking list ship per ship, i was /wowsg/ best NC, and i really liked her; my USN trainer (Arizona) got nerfed hard by matchmaking changes and although she's a fun ship, she lacks the reliability to make her suited in that role.
Also SK class is kinda unique and from what i heard, the improved playstyle fits exactly the way i used to play NC.

wrong, battleships are severely underpowered. They are quickly set ablaze (fires are inhistorical btw), constantly shot from impunity by cruisers and destroyers, and are fodder for even bad CV players. I highly recommend playing cruisers as they are the easiest class to play at the moment. o7
