Probably not, there's bound to be others that feel that way.
Personally I think they're fine. I hate the way the camera will vertically reset when you move, but that's a problem in too many games to count.
A few control tips I'd give would be to hold X when you're about to platform/climb over stuff, since that makes it feel far more satisfying. Also, if you haven't unlocked the cover system yet then it's understandable that you'd take issue with the controls, since using cover makes it infinitely less tedious to sneak around.

Depending on what you plan on streaming, you could save some money by going with Avercapture HD or the normal El Gato HD. The only benefit the HD60 has is that it supports 1080p60, which most console games don't even support to begin with, but it's 30-60USD extra (not sure how much it is in other regions). wheel of fortune requires a mementos mission and 100k to start

tower is part of a mementos mission you get on 9/4 that requires you to talk to a dude in shibuya's game center, attempt the mission, then track down shinya in akiba's game center

strength is fusion requests, the later ones require high level personas with skills that sometimes require fusion chains

The four most crucial confidants are Death, Sun, Temperance, and Fortune. Sun and Fortune have no stat requirements, though the latter requires a lot of money to start (100k yen). Death requires level 2 Courage, and Temperance requires level 3, so get on those. Death requires level 3 Charm to get past her 7th Rank.

Making use of those four confidants is neccessary to max all confidants in one run.
-Sun will give you skills at rank 2 and 3 that allow you to get a fuck tonne of money from negotiations with enemies, and this is absolutely needed.
-Death will let you buy accessories that replenish your SP every turn once you get her confidant up, and these will make it possible to beat dungeons in one run, saving a lot of time. However these are 100k yen each to start with, and go down to 50k when you hit rank 7 - so make sure to grind out a shit tonne of money with Sun's confidant.
-Temperance will let you slack off in class, so you can read, craft shit, and study without losing free time. Focus on reading to increase your stats. Once you get her confidant to rank 10 you'll get an ability that stops you from being tired after returning from a dungeon. Her confidant costs 5k every rank, but that's not too bad.
-Fortune is by far the most important. She lets you increase your bond with confidants without spending time with them, and at the point where you get that skill. This costs a lot of money to do and increases every time you do it for each character, so here's where the Sun's money can also come in handy. Doing this is the key to maxing every confidant in a single run.

Other general advice I would give you is to always do whatever confidants are available. Don't spend time trying to hone your stats if it means not spending time with someone instead.

Sure, Normal's well balanced. You can change it any time though, so don't be intimidated to try Hard if you want a challenge.

No. It's mandatory. And you'll need to do it to progress most non-party confidants past rank 8.
I would say making a trip once every dungeon arc would be the best way to go about it. Missions don't have deadlines (other than the end of the game), so you can let them stack up and clear them in bulk in a single visit.

Demon negotiation is based around "personalities." Each demon has a personality that tells you the types of answers they prefer (there's a tutorial you can read in the menu that talks about this).
It's still Persona, and it has more dialogue than ever - but there's definitely a lot more SMT here to enjoy, between the proper dungeons, the demons, and where the story tends to go.

That cutscene with the news reporter struck me as weird in Japanese too, since it was unsubbed. But it's literally the only one in the game like that. None of the other anime cutscenes have issues with subbing, and everything else in the game is totally subbed. Maybe I'm just not that autistic but I've seen Goro's Japanese dialogue a number of times and the ones in English, so far I don't find that the translators have misunderstood anything.

regarding his cafe speech, Goro says 「サイテーな大人」"Bad adult(s)" which is a non-countable noun such as "sheep" in English, and in this case it can be construed as being either one person or plural. What he says afterwards gives no indication of one person or more than one. 「そいつへんの反骨」's そいつ "that/them" can refer to one person or "bad adults" in general. It really wasn't that clear in Japanese either.

I read the scene in Japanese, I know Goro was talking about Shidou above all else. But he was deliberately being ambiguous enough. If you read that scene without knowing the connection to Shidou all along, even you wouldn't have guessed it was all about one person.

My final two cents on this is, the translation here isn't as terrible as some people make it out to be, there is no loss in understanding after one plays the game, and that's fine in my books.
