Basically this, probably one of the few actual complaints about how DeNA handles Global.

Does anyone remember that old Forbidden Treasure event from a long time ago where they handed out Mog / Edward / Firion / etc who we skipped because they were collab rewards? I'm not sure if that was in JP (or at least in the form we got it) but I think that's the only recorded instance of them putting in effort to normalize Global with JP.

Granted the IV torment with Bard Motes + Curilla / Ayame's stuff showing up on the Aphmau banner will bring us back up but that's in forever later as far as we're concerned. Is it really that hard for them to just dump everything now and avoid the (((cultural differences))) excuse?

For example, I'd be fine if they did something like include a second XI banner for the upcoming event and just recycle half the stuff on the first banner except with the stuff from the Grandmasters event as the main draws. It's not even out of place for them to recycle shit, I know there was a VII event some time ago where Cloud OSB showed up on both banners (Angeal event?)

That's because that's wrong as fuck about Onion. His powerchain magic command combined with his absurd base stats make it one of the most damaging BSBs in the game. His medica literally does less damage than two of his CMD2 casts and it's just a %max HP medica anyway. His OSB is great but it's fan-fucking-tastic when you can powerchain into it with, you guessed it, CMD2

I don't think you know what your point is. Cloud USB is good but to use it native you're going to want Cloud's BSB2, which will take two bars for the whole combo. It's not particularly efficient with how long it takes to ramp up. Contrast using it as a RW, when you can pop it on anyone and turn them into an unholy machine of death not limited to cloud's moveset.

Onion on the other hand is a complete damage package with one bar of SB. Get him up (literally two turns with Ace Striker), BSB, and your pain train is already rolling. There's no setup involved to make it bad natively like Cloud's USB has.

Or did you maybe miss the point?

Also it's mostly the MMO nature of the game, but I've never felt more anxious around an FF monster than the goblins in XI. They were absolute fucking nightmares in low levels. ATTENTION KUJA RAIDERS

He apparently has some kind of nasty combo of interrupts when he gets to around half life. At 60% or so he'll gravija, which is not a big deal. But at 50% or so he'll do an AoE lightning and then his Ultima, which brings your HP to one. The problem here is that he can counterattack with ultima, so if you had a counterable skill ready to go, try to hold up so you don't get countered.

Have only read this off of various sources, so dunno how accurate it is, but go in expecting something like this.

I have no Kuja art because most of it is bad, so here he is with other Dissidia villians with cat ears.
