All I wanted to do was provide some fresh art from Pixiv like Twitteranon does for Twitter. But problems started racking up, you need an account to view the full resolutions so I can't post a bunch of links, and I can't host them to Imgur because of compression.
I had no choice but to lend my services to the Spiderfags, a now non-existent group that I have been puppeteering the corpse of for about half a year now.
I could not let go, I think it's time to move on.

Might get one when Toby runs out of money from Undertale. On the other hand I don't really know how a sequel would play out, I thought the ending seemed pretty definite.
And if Toby decides to make a brand new game everyone is going to go on and on about how it is not more Undertale like they wanted, it might be for the best if he leaves it as a one time thing.
That being said, I hope he does work on more games, just maybe not that he makes another 100% Toby production. I know that at least I would have a hard time not drawing parallels to Undertale if he did.

The reason I asked was that someone mentioned how stupid it was that you got shat on in the game for killing monsters in defense, when they attacked you first. But I recalled having heard that monsters would be reluctant to fight if they were injured, meaning that even if you decided to fight them when they attacked you, you would not actually need to kill them to defend yourself. So imho this would mean that the criticism you receive for killing monsters to some extent is deserved, since you could have ended the fight without killing anyone.

The only thing I don't get about Flowey is why didn't he just wait in the first place instead of resetting 649 sextillion times only to bore himself? Toriel didn't want to kill any human that fell into the underground. Toriel only mentioned the other plan as a -hypothetical- to elaborate why she hates Asgore so much. If he really wanted to get monsters out of the mountain, then Chara's plan was the optimal strategy based on what they currently knew about soul absorption. But Asgore didn't do that because he was too chickenshit to put his foot down and commit to either destroying humanity or sparing them. Instead he chose the worst possible compromise which extended the amount of time monsters were imprisoned in the underground and shackled him with the guilt of murdering the truly innocent. It's hard for me to put this into words so bear with me.
Let's say Flowey comes into existence on day 1 and Frisk falls on day 5 (I know it was probably longer but for the sake of the example roll with it)
Flowey repeats the 4 days over and over again, like watching a movie but restarting before the final act.
Like what if Flowey majorly fucks with the timeline, Papyrus and Undyne somehow become swashbuckling pirates, they have pirate adventures, they are about to have a climatic sword fight with Asgore.
But the fight is on day 5.
That event would be something that Flowey has never seen before, but he resets before day 5 anyway.
Instead of seeing something new he resets and forces himself to redo the same stuff instead of seeing the new stuff for some unknown reason.

Asgore's plan was the best but he had no way of knowing that at the time but its pretty much realistically the only one that would have worked since I think the humans would have probably snipped Asgore or Toriel once they found out how to cross the barrier like Chara did since all seven were willing to risk their lives over and over to get free anyways and were probably willing to kill to do it. This is of course headcanon on my part so its not something I would ever agure with anyone but just my personal opinion. Also I don't give Asgore a free pass and he's still a murderer and just got really fucking lucky that his plan was the only one that would have worked. I like him anyways because his motivation and actions make complete sense and he fucking hates himself because of what he did and he'll likely never hurt anyone again after TP is why I forgive and like him also his content is the best in the game and he made me cry so I forgave him right away for that because its a video game

Toriel's plan would have most likely ended in Asgore dying the reverse death of Asriel when the soul rebelled and got him killed. She doesn't know this though so her ignorance on the matter is understandable. My big issue with her is that she let all seven humans go and didn't break the door down even though she could and it would have saved literally all of them and that she gave up literally all of her political power when she could have stuck around (not as his wife but just a powerful figure head) and over time gained sympathies to have the war ended much earlier. I mean we know that there are pro humans and that they can wield a ton of power like Mettaton so she might have been able to do SOMETHING instead of just hiding in a cave.

So Asgore was right but for the wrong reasons and Toriel was wrong but for the right reasons I guess.

With all this talk about the King and Queen, I sometimes wonder if it's worth blaming either of them for their decisions when the human children held all the cards. No matter what Toriel did, they'd all eventually escape her with enough resets. Similarly, Asgore might kill them on sight, but they could reset and avoid him. Each of these kids intentionally left the safety of the ruins and confronted Asgore repeatedly until they finally gave up.

Sometimes I wonder if the children's canon deaths were more like assisted suicide. Mentally defeated, they simply walk up to Asgore and nonverbally ask him to end this purgatory.

For me, I spared him on matter of principle. I wanted to prove that his worldview of "kill or be killed" was flawed by nature of me managing to defeat him but also show him mercy. I believe my choice of action was correct since, if he wants to be taken seriously, he could not even comprehend my choice, and how I turned his worldview want to tak and how I turned his worldview on its head.

The whole point of Asgore's plan was to get seven souls while still being unknown and end the human race right away with the power of a god. There wouldn't even be a war because one second humans would be there and the next they wouldn't

Of course we never really get a proper read on how strong seven soul monsters are so people either under power them or over power them depending on personal preference. That's where all the dumb 100 marines things come from.
