I had issues with my first arcitect. Either respec or wait till you can get overload/lance/charge.
It's easy to wipe the minions out with overload. Lance is for helping take out the legs/head conduit since it does bonus to weakspots. Charge is just for survival. I'd also recomend getting the barrier passive in biotic tree that basically gives you a free life if your hp gets low enouigh

I didn't, in fact, play Mass Effect until I heard ME3 was coming out, and one of my friends recommended the series to me, so I had the fortune of going through all three games in a row and not having the time to develop nostalgia for any of them. ME1 was indeed good because of the world building. Garrus wasn't even much of the badass character he is now known for being until ME2. They literally meme'd him up.

Cover from his machine gun isn't consistent. Most of the time I've been getting killed, it's because I get stacked on by adds while simuntaneously dodging the red beam, which he loves to followup with the machine gun. Sometimes it will bug out and not track me right so it misses every shot, except jetting out of the way of an add's attack refocuses the tracking of the gun, which promptly slaughters my shields and half my health.

The Architects only attack alongside their reinforcements if you fight too far away from them. If you fight close to them, like within 20-50m of their conduits, you only have to fight the minions themselves.

He starts barraging you with attacks as well if you stray too far from him. I can't tell if it's a bug, or coded to work that way, but I'm assuming the latter since it was pretty consistent in my encounters.

The game has been out nearly 3 weeks and not a single fucking patch is out. The game is so fucking buggy. All over Voeld the bigger monster guys are always stuck making noises unable to move. My crew always falls from the sky when I leave the nomad. The performance is terrible. On and on and on. I am sick of SAM telling me when the temperature drops .000000000000000000000001 degrees Celsius then increases by 00000000000000000004 degrees.

I want them to patch a tactical freeze mode like 1-3 so we can use more than 3 powers. There is no point to getting anymore because of all the passive stat buffs to compensate (statistically) for actually having fun with power combos. Almost all the Kett weapons are trash. Some melee weapons clip you into the world geometry and cause you to fall under the world. The menus are ass. You cannot cancel a deployment once on the loadout screen. You cannot choose where to land on a planet despite the game interface making you rotate to pick one and on places like EOS you start at one spot and then end up in the new settlement touchdown area. Why can't I pick? Why do I need to watch an animation to look at the system map in other solar systems? Why can't it travel after I decide I actually need to be there?

Fuck DLC. Fix the game.
