Oh jeez. This Star Ocean April Fool's thing is amazing. The character profiles are all changed to reflect a Star Ocean Academy. I would definitely vote for Maria for seitokaichou.

But to go along with this update, their new direction with the weapon gacha is going to be interesting. Instead of having weapons that just increase parameters, the weapons are just going to have high parameters to start out with. "High parameters" meaning just about double the stats of the older weapons. That's crazy.

I was rolling with the intention to finish the clothes line which was my first attempt to get one eons ago, for my housewaifu Miki. Ended up rolling 40k points and making nearly everything I didn't already have and not even needing to upgrade my old clothes line spear.

Zain's brokeness is kind of a completely different sort of thing. Other people can get huger numbers and be fast murderbots in specific ways but Zain just:

a) Hacks things to bits with his Slash damage up passive. With it, his normal attacks can match a Setsuna(also with normal attack) that has 200 more attack over him.

b) Throws magic nukes with no cast time which are stronk despite his low magic atk.

c) Decently tank damage thrown his way with his Magic Fencer passive and Holy Knight reaction. Equip his Holy Knight instead of his Slash Up for full tank. Oh, he can heal himself too, but normally you'd rather spend your action killing things. He manages this while also being faster and moving further than normal Holy Knights.

I have Thunder and Assault Mei, and I find Thunder stronger even when I have type disadvantage, albeit she's slower. Assault is still awesome though, I use her most of the time. Neither of them are minmaxed so Assault might end up being better in the long run. From what I've read to make Assault shine you need added effects when reaching X combo threshold while Thunder needs lightning damage stacking.

Very bad. Their gimmick is a shield that can nullify damage. You'd think this would be good since you could play more recklessly but this shield can only negate 1 hit and it appears after SS3 is done. It's useless. Most of the time you are simply going to parry or dodge. I thought this event would have some unblockable attack but that wasn't the case. They aren't even needed to get a good clear time in the ranking. In my opinion if you have OS/Cheerleader/Ninja then it's best to wait until a batch with def down comes out.
