I feel that concept of death in this game is inconsistent.
The game starts with assault mission and one of your team mates 11B is taken down. Later you get a quest from 16D to recover her body. 16D is extremely sad about 11B's death. But why can't they just recover her memories from backup which should have been made right before the mission? 11B would lose maximum 30 minutes of memories and still be the same person.

Combat with 2B is really overrated. It's a primitive spamfest and if you're doing anything but spamming light attacks you're not playing optimally. Her ground executions don't properly trigger on a lot of mobs which makes them awkward. A2 is a direct improvement and far more technical character thanks to taunts and rage mode, but between 2B and 9S i will prefer 9S with all the hilarious shit he has going for him, from 30k spear throw crits and up to playing in MGS by hijacking robots and moving up the chain of power.

Even after developing emotions, pod 042 doesn't speak in contractions, and still uses that robotic speech, which you use in some parts, but others you have him speaking casually. Maybe inconsistency in writing then? And the most emotion we get out of A2 in the game is "You're not bad", so I think the level of emotion you give her is a bit unwarranted. That's more of a nitpick, but I think there is some inconsistency in the characters personalities within the fanfic itself, between chapters.

First the black diamond means the chip has the smallest size it can, which you want to have. Higher levels means you can remote control higher levelled enemies. But you have to hack them before they see you in order to remote control. But i mostly just use hacking to destroy enemies. I'd say stick to chips for hacking damage, melee damage and movement speed
