Here is a list of the epic skins that are being changed to legendary quality in 2.0:

Alright so, what I don't get is, all this bitching about losing crates, but you have skins for everything you have now (which you totally do if your hero level is high), plus, you unlock all your tints.

Do people really give a bigger crap about getting gems and stuff to purchase heroes you already have? It's not like what we have is going anywhere, just the crates are new.

I'm going to hop on with pretty much all the skins and tints up, for all the heroes I give a crap about. Skins pop up about 1/5 loot boxes, and I'd only get 50 or so skins, even though I have far more unlocked now.

For the new one, you get 4 AAs with 40% lifesteal, i.e. only 160% of your AA damage in total (~350 hp). But also 1 AA less. it's an outright 20% damage nerf for this particular duration, and in general for him.

Okay so I got this idea to play the game again. How do I deal with the fact that all matches revolve around whether or not you are on the team that understands five manning is OP? Getting the skin you want only using shards is the dumbest thing ever. Let's say I want that sweet new Diablo skin, it costs me 1600 shards and that's for only one tint...
The fact that I'm "robbed" lootboxes as an older player should be known by now. So it's harder for me to get the needed shards.
Every new player is going to have a much easier time getting lootboxes (specific-hero boxes etc.) and even more shards.
If I started a new account I would get so many more unlockables...
If you have all heroes around lvl 10, how on earth are you gonna get the same rewards as the guy who has every hero lvl 5 except one or two?

And I'm not even touching the topic of master skins....

It's more like the groundwork for future content. It's a massive incentive for new players coming in to get stuff without money. Older players don't give a fuck.

This gives them more freedom/income from the cosmetic system over time, allowing them to do better single skins from a developer standpoint and not have to make three recolors for no reason. They can just add whatever.

Also, two new heroes, a new map, a new event, and a new cinematic trailer coming out over the next month or so.
