Guys, without being spoiled, what type of build will I be able to get the most out of the dlc with? I want to use fun and interesting weapons and I know AoA really favored dex.

After the nerf to refined, sharp is strictly better for virtually every former-quality weapon, excluding those that are obviously now optimal as heavy.

To anyone who has a problem with Midir, just stick in front of him. If you stay just out of his effective range you can poke him at the end of his combos while keeping him entirely within line of sight. All of his attacks have fair telegraphs and he doesn't have any capacity to mix up his combos so after a few shots it just becomes an endurance test. Trust me, I get why ya'll hate him, but the solution is pretty easy.

I think he's the most fair boss in dark souls 3 (haven't fought gael yet).

He has very clear tells on his attacks and he always has downtime to let you heal/attack. He has a lot of restraint and reminds me a lot of dark souls 1 for some reason. His music is really good too.

Nope, you don't get to actually fight or see any real angels, The "angels" you fight are pretty much just the final stage of a pilgrim butterfly and are created my a fully "hatched" pilgrim. Don't know why people think Dark Souls has this cohesive narrative, it's often just smash of allegory and metaphor with a fuck load of plot holes that are often "patch up" by lorefag conjectures. So no, you don't get to see or fight real angels, and you never find the source of miracles like divine pillars of light.

This is why the Sword of Avowal is in the possession of the pilgrims and an essential piece of the usurpation. They revere the Ringed City and its relics because it is the destination of Londor.

In the original japanese, there's no reference to a "land of Londor." The english lines that refer to them being from such a land are just a localization of what would translate literally to "being of the Londor clan." They chose a cleaner translation that unfortunately implies the existence of a land that does not exist, because they were obviously translating without this additional context.

ng7 is really fun actually, gael is my fav fight in the series so fighting him for a solid 5 mins before phase 2 comes is a blast. The only issue is that big dicked dragon. Though to be fair ive only fought him 5ish times and for anyone struggling with the bastard, black k***ht shield works wonders, and hang around under his neck. ive gotten him to less the half health so far, ill finish him 2nite probs.

You can't burn the Dark Soul in the Fire because it's a fire itself. The Dark Soul came from the First Flame just like all the others.

Every beings natural state is a Hollow, not just humans. Gwyn was a Hollow, Witch of Izalith, all of them.
