Every single one of them chews like a horse, big gaping chewing motions which produce readings on tectonic seismographs. As someone with misophonia this fucks with me a great deal and I usually have to excuse myself from the lunch room to eat my lunch if i've forgotten my headphones for work.

I thought maybe this was just kind of.... sub ethnically cultural thing from my area, like a lot of asians hang out with each other here and grow up together (Australia), so I thought maybe they all kinda just eat like that at their favourite Asian restaurants because that's how everyone else eats there, etc..

However, it's become apparently from watching many League streams by Koreans and other asians, that they all, also, eat like fucking animals to the point my misophonia makes me want to gut them on stream and fuck their decapitated skull.

The way I see it is, League tries to promote itself as G rated. Voice chat takes the ability to control the censorship away from them.

I mean, i've been chat restricted for calling a Lee Sin supp who fed twice in 2 minutes then ran down mid and fed 20 kills in 10 minutes "scum of the earth". He was never abused early on, it was the quietest game i've been in, yet somehow calling him scum of the earth was chat restriction worthy.

I've seen other communities go from chat to voice. The term keyboard warriors exist for a reason.
Plenty of people love to type tough sounding and be cunts in chat but have no spine in voice, and quickly shut up when being talked to with voice.

Yeah it's an odd double edged situation. On one hand as you say, bottling up and up and then exploding in chat, whatever the explosion may be, is overall going to be taken wrong, or to the most worse extreme by your teammates. Tone is compeltely lost and it easily tilts people.

On the other hand, some people get addicted to regular outbursts and take things too far, over and over.

I do however think the latter would be the rarer thing, and the former the more common. Making voice chat an actual relief element for platyers.

Another example would be giving someone criticism. Some people take "next time you should use your E first, that way you won't have zero escape", as, "NEXT TIME, use your E first you fucking twat and you won't feed like a cunt", simply because text has no tone. When in voice, you could almost be Dr Phil and chill-out tell them "hey buddy, just do you know, if you save your E, you can 100% win those engages with [champion] and punish the use of his cooldowns" or whatever. Saying that type of thing in a chill way in text, just doesn't get communicated that way.
