What makes playing against any rune deck worse than playing against Sword for instance? I feel much more in control of the game when I play against Rune because it just feels easier to predict what cards they have and what they might do next.

i don't much play dshift, i'm a controlcuck who mostly plays haven and blood.

i will play against dshift over forest any day of the week. wolfbolt is literally the same shit, the only difference is you can get roached down before they finish their "combo" and you have to aggressively clear their board most of your turns to prevent soccer mom from becoming too valuable and to prevent the chip so you don't get killed on turn 6 or 7.

dshift is just rushing their face and hoping they don't have answers, it's much more enjoyable and relaxing than having to play around roach, wolf, and soccer mom all at once.

Maybe it's because I play dragon but I'd rather play against Dshift than Sword any day. By ramping well and getting lucky, or managing to hide behind two wards, I can actually win and the entire game is rather relaxing. Let me rephrase: I know exactly what they play but unless I draw practically perfectly I can't do anything about it. There's nothing interesting in those games. I already know I've lost by like turn 4 unless I managed to answer every one of their early minions with shit like Unica.

Yea, that might have something to do with it.

Sure the fact that sword builds get to scale lategame with enhance effects and still be aggro is silly but that's what Daria does, except moreso. Dragon is actually getting good anti-aggro tools with the 2/5 ward and a ramping+healing card with a body. I can't speak for how good they are, but their use is applicable to other matchups besides aggro while being good against aggro.

Only Csword is getting something that might work against dshift MAYBE.

This a forest thing, nothing to do with roaches or whatever build you're playing and their playing. It's not right, but at least you can input how big AE gets in most cases.

yea, okay that part is true. I can say that as someone who's piloted wolfbolt. Bolt is pretty hard to come back from unless you spam healing like sun haven and cblood. If dshift went off on turn 8-9 with average luck then it'd be "fine". That's not what's happening right now though, it's turn 7 shifts and sometimes turn 6 with a great curve.

There's no reason to play Guardian Sun anymore. Just stick Aegis into Elana. Bahamut is the hardest counter to Elana, and Aegis is the solution to it. Zell and Mainyu will be played to deal with solitaire. Elana Aegis will not care about Dragon anymore, the hard match ups will be roach, Seraph (no space for Odin, but it;s unlikely Seraph will exist thanks to Lightning Blast), and D.Shift (which might run Petrifaction thanks to duran duran).

Burial Grounds, widows/bellringers, token (skeleton/ghost) spam, and strong necromancies (you'll have lots of shadows). You can also fit in some sacrificers to take advantage of the tokens, and Urd is good both for popping Chimera, drawing cards, and healing Atomy.

It's usually better to go for full token spam than try to pop things like attendants/hell unleashers with him, because they slow the deck down too much.

Skullfam is workable. Anomaly is dead on arrival needing bricks and misplays to do anything.

Any wolf-anomaly/forest dragon is inferior to wolfbolt
Rose queen is inferior to wolfbolt but is still stronger than playing a bunch of large bodies and anomalies desperately trying to empty his hand of removal and trade cards due to just killing from hand
Barring sufficient AoE, a tempo board can chip harder, faster for actual lethal.

Between Titania, Airen, Vist, Tia, and Elder treant they can keep hitting the board with free evo rush out to jungle protector and roach kills from hand with the chip they've done

Anomaly is fundamentally flawed in that it gets 1-2 turns where it's facing a board, 5-7ish hard removal or trade, and 1-2 odins. Then after that there's an additional 2-3 bahamuts during which satan is a better win con. It's not even like it works with Forest's can't attack cards as yet again, nothing can protect it, what can is inferior, reducing it is inferior to wolfbolt, and it does nothing to new cards played which are still more than enough to kill anomaly turn after turn.

I go 3-2 at the very least. Went a lot of 4-1. Not a single 5-0 because there is always that one game where the enemy just get a constructed tier deck and pulls.

I think the main reason is that I don't even play T2 outside of the free monthly ticket. I prefer to buy expansion packs than get money for standard. Still, I've played at least 30-40 T2 so I expect to get at least one 5-0.

I'm having more success with this gimped Guardian Sun deck at AA0 than any of my 100% complete Shadow decks, or really other decks in general. I don't play Daria or Albert.

Beats sword, which is what's most important. But I also beat these weird midrange blood decks (I assume they're that if they run things like Yurius, Night Horde, Vania, Queen Vampire ,etc. in the same deck)

The grind from 49k to 50k is the hardest part and very tilting. Play some music, don't be too emotionally invested in the games, and grind it out. If you're misplaying because of the tilt, stop playing immediately and try again in 1-2 hours if you're feeling better.

You can do it anon. You should hit master before the next expansion. You'll feel good about it and you won't lose to decks that you can't understand because the new meta will be a mess.
