There are though. After you get all your must haves you only have 15 points to divvy up between Showtime (not Star), APPR, and S Roll. Every point is precious, GU is actually one of the classes that benefits the most from the 5 extra points at 80 cap.

I'm being completely sincere when I say no, you don't. You need units to raise your lightning attribute past 250, which also means you need more lightning chips. You can find those units in the recycle shop, they're the ones that take 20 rare boss chips. You can also just buy them in pso2. You want two Lightning Reeds ( サブ/ボルトリード ) and a Lightning Rigid ( サブ/ボルトリジッド ). They were made available not that long ago so they should still be cheap iirc.

That Gene chip is terrible. Yamigarasu is good but Yamigarasu is a chip that's infinitely more useful when you use it as your friend partner which is why I hunt for them and have about 10 of them on my friends list. Half of them quit playing but I leave them there just so I have access to Yamigarasu. The dream is to have an all lightning loadout, especially from a weaponoid that benefits from having a lot of lightning chips since those tend to be really strong. Also it has to be mentioned, this loadout is garbage vs darkers which aren't effected by annette. Annette is fantastic don't get me wrong but no darker weakness is pretty bad. You went through the trouble of getting an Arion so definitely try to get two more lightning chips to replace gene/yamigarasu and build up your friend's list with strong chips. If you REALLY want to tryhard in pso2es, your friends list being active during eqs starts to matter less if you can 1-2 pass bosses. Though if this is your best loadout, you definitely still need people to help you.

Normally I would tell people to not bother getting into es but you went to all the trouble of getting a max element Arion so I have to assume you're serious. Pray the next recycle shop round of weaponoids has a good lightning chip for you. Otherwise start saving medals for either a really broken seasonal 12* or a really good 11* weaponoid which you realistically have a chance of drawing with only a few 11 pulls.

I was being somewhat sarcastic. I'm well aware of how things work in es, and I have more than one +35 arion daggers. You'll notice that the loadout itself doesn't use an E frame, which means I can easily fill element with a strong E frame and other frames with different for a good amount of damage. Using a variant of that loadout with 8* facet folia already does a 2 pass amount of damage on several elements.

I just don't care for darkers though because none of my characters really have a darker suitable loadout, so the loadout works perfectly fine (ignore that the next eq is ringada, but I hate ringada anyway).

Also, I am of the opinion that 3x rigid is better than 3x reed/etc, you get far more burst damage with an extra 60cp.

Because I've been playing it for over a year and a half now. I've never spent a single cent on ES scratch, and play multiple characters instead. Also, as far as things are concerned, that loadout (making an assumption of 60% on jenne at max abi) is actually quite strong, despite what you may think. FFEX over FF8 is an ~1.5x damage mod (if 6 is 1, 8 is 1.35, 10 is 1.75, ex is 2).

ES used to make me good money, which is why I played it a good bit. Now it doesn't make me that good money (though I did get easy money from selling a jigma partisan the other day), so I play it less. Biggest library right now is 922.

You have way more points on Hu sub than there are good skills, you can max everything damage related and still have more than enough left over for Massive Hunter/Automate. Force is my first love so I'm really hoping episode 5 does something. 4/5 of the techs being completely useless is pretty bad. I had a couple keys so I didn't do nearly that many. Falz Arms is 6m+ exp if you do it semi-efficiently, Loser is around 4-5m, and Demise is right around there as well - All things we've had.
It's really not bad and definitely not something you won't ever get without grinding, just doing your EQs and being lazy otherwise you should get to 80 in a week as long as you hit a decent bunch

I just run 75Exp+100Tri for the stuff that gives good exp. You can buy 125% Tris with SG if you somehow don't have more Tris than you could ever burn through, they are super cheap. Honestly they are a lot better to use for Exp than RDB, they do much more for you that way.
