Yeah, new class if you haven't played in more than a year. They are the only class that can use all elements+a unique one (light.) They can do everything; not as good as the specialized classes, but still useful. They are FUN to play, since they can combine spells for many different combinations and effects. They clearly show a new direction on design, I like them a lot. They were featured on the Dofus movie, have you seen it?

Reminds me that classes like Pandawa need a total rework since they feel ancient.

I actually went back to asheron's call a few years ago but the player population is so low now that the world is pretty much dead and people just join guilds on the forums and immediately teleport to the guild house.
That and since the world is ded, they added a quest hub area so new characters can solo their way to a reasonably high level.

The good ol' days are sadly now gone. I'm looking at albion online now and it reminds me of ultima online meets moba combat. Hopefully it'll live up to old school sandbox mmorpgs. Slightly tempted to get founder's to try it out but it's abit pricy. Do we have a guild for albion online?

All of them are suited for group play, some more than others.
What kind of gameplay you want?

Feca is the tank.
Eni is the healer.
Panda is the positioner.
All 3 are pretty much mandatory in end game dungeons.

If you want pure damage dealers then Iop and Cra could work.
Want to be tankier but also do damage? Then maybe a Fogger. Xelors can also position and deal damage if you don't have a panda.

Basically everyone has a role to play.

The knight is only good as a meat tank and I personally think he's better than those other tank sidekicks.
Sidekicks don't care if they die. They always start with full HP in the next fight.

Also you get a 'free trial' sidekick every week so you don't need to buy one to use 2 sidekicks so try them. You also get another loot roll if you have another sidekick with you.

You get a free one at level 30(or maybe 40?) and at 80.
After that you're going to need to grind for materials and it has a cooldown of 30 days.

It's easier to get those materials now since you can do Stasis 20 dungeons and it increases the drops while making the dungeon harder.

And one more thing, you now have 'build pages' so you don't really need to reset until you fill all those up.

Well, kinda. The teams at Turbine that handled both LotRO and D&DO essentially were sick of WB's shit and Turbine's new major push to focus on mobile games so they basically just said, "Give us the shit - we're Standing Stone Games now."

Mordor stuff looks pretty neat so far, myself personally I only have content up to the Mirkwood expansion unlocked and haven't played in a long-ass time. Still one of my favorites though even with low pop areas.

Leveling up let you get better gear, more AP, more MP, more spell slots, more passives, more passive slots, more dungeons unlocked, meaning more gear to collect. And such, and such. You start leveling up your passives around lvl 110, they get more powerful, or unlock more effects.

Having more AP, MP and passives let you do more and more awesome combos, plus everything else. Is really exciting to lvl up; the fun really tunes up once you get around lvl 80, since you are more free to do stuff.

Don't worry about your nation too much. More than anything else, is just a roleplaying decision, since you can go to any country you want at any time. Is just that is easier to move around your nation since having negative citizen points barely affect you, unlike outside of your nation that prohibit you from using warp points.

How do dungeons in Wakfu work? I tried Tofuhouse last night, listed as level 12 but the boss was 24 with 750HP doing 100 damage per turn and a stacking damage buff.

Right now is very populated, at least the royal continents (safe zones... or most of them, there are some maps where you can get killed and looted). They changed the world in this patch and made it a little smaller, so you'll always are going to see people.

They added "expeditions" that are some kind of instanced dungeons (solo or with a party), and you can queue from the town.

The black continents (full pvp anarchy etc) are a different whole thing, there aren't many players there and if there are, they gank everyone, sometimes on groups. BUT, if you are in a guild with a territory there is pretty fun.

I feel that the problem with albion is precisely PVE, and while the expeditions are a step ahead, the game itself doesn't have a story or anything. But it's intended that way, it's a "sandbox" MMO.

Also there are players that just enjoy recollecting things and crafting them...

IDK, the thing with Albion is that's up to you to decide what you want to do in the game
