I did a long time ago. It's a barebones SRPG in which some later levels become a total drag because they take way too long to finish. The story isn't bad but there are some total asspulls near the end that kind of ruin the impact of some parts. I found the MC kind of annoying as well but I think that's just because I can't stand Kirito's VA and he spends half the game yelling.

Its like the drama feels like nothing. The routes are pretty short. Sex right after confession. Barely any lovey dovey chemistry. Ending immediately after "climax". After credits scene is minimal as well.
Timeline was: intro what the drama will be over -> hour's worth of "will they / wont they?" -> confession -> sex -> 10 minute date scene -> set up for the start of drama -> sex -> shitty drama -> end -> 5 minute after credits scene

I thought the last segment of Isuzu's route was fucking awful. Probably one of my least favorite things about Hoshimemo.By the time the telescope drama happened she had already gone pretty much full dere. The ending drama just felt pointless to me. The entire time she's basically just miserable and desperately trying to make You spend more time with her because she thinks that he's mad at her for her actions over his sister. She basically sets aside her own wants and desires primarily just so he will stop avoiding her. She's offering to go to club, she's offering her body to him. Really pitiful stuff. Meanwhile You just sits there and gives apathetic responses and the only sense of regret we can see is in his inner monologues. It was effective at getting an emotional rise out of me, but when you think about the whole situation it doesn't really make sense. Why didn't You just tell her that they were working their butts off on fixing her telescope? Why did he just willingly sit back and watch as she was completely miserable the whole entire time for the last segment? You even says to himself that there were more effective ways he could be going about to do this. Isuzu brings up the obvious question of, "Why didn't you faggots just tell me you were fixing my telescope?" and Chinami kind of dances around the issue saying it isn't really fixed and that if she had told her that she wouldn't be able to properly fix it that she would have just got disappointed and angry with them. I say that's bullshit. Not only is that an incredibly condescending way to approach the situation ("Oh, Isuzu is kind of a cunt, right? We shouldn't tell her to get her hopes up because she'll just get mad at us later on if we can't fix it right.") but it doesn't make any sense with what we know in regards to these characters. It was all for the sake of supposed suspense and melodrama. The handling of the climax was extremely poor in my view.

Also there's a pretty decent male cast and they, gasp, get development as well.

I don't think I need to justify disliking Aries and Asuka's routes since even people that like the game aren't too hot on those.
I didn't like the dynamic between Aqua and Daigo, in fact I outright despised everything about it. 2048 was also very poorly paced, but the scenes on the moon is admittedly pretty good. I thought Aqua's route was anti-climatic. The way Saionjijust gives up on his waifu resurrection project after essentially devoting his entire life to it was pretty eh.
It wasn't a bad VN, it was just fairly mediocre. I don't get where people get off giving it 10/10s when there are actual fantastic VNs out there which far more care and attention to detail, like Fata Morgana.

The premise is weak and I didn't find any of the heroines "appetible". I especially disliked Yuka, the childhood friend, with her "uwaaaa~~~ I'm so helpless and cute !!! >-<" attitude, and considering you pratically spend all of your time with her left me with a really bad taste.
The redhead was a bit too flat for my tastes and while the kuudere wasn't 100% shit, she wasn't enough to hold my interest.
About the setting, it's basically the most boring and overused idea you could expect which is standard in the newest titles of the kind: basically a battle royale involving magic. The presentation of it and the inroduction of the villains is so cliched and downright retarded that I was shaking my head the whole time.
The TL itself doesn't flow very well, there's some minor mistakes too but it is "readable".
