In order of stat priority: dex > str > int > fth
Dex and str both increase the elemental AR as well as the physical AR so they kinda triple-dip for stat efficiency. That's why they're only D, because they affect 3 attributes at the same time. That's right, they're quality weapons.

As for actual use:
The running L1 is good because it carries you a huge distance forward and has surprising range. The standing L1 also has surprising range (extends noticably beyond the weapon's model) and does a lot of damage.
Your basic approach is to poke with running R1s and baits (because CS running attacks are always good), mix things up with the unpredictable distance of the running L1, and bait whiffs to punish with the standing L1s.

I now have 60 INT on my sorcerer. I'm twoshotting Corvian Knights and it's stupid as hell. Right now I have 30 VIG 14 END 24 ATT and just enough STR and DEX to use the crystal age's rapier. What should I level next? Get VIG to 40? Pump up END so I can actually fire a soul spear and then dodge? Is there a need for a 5th spell slot at 32 ATT? Lay it on me.

My PS4 is having trouble maintaining a connection for some reason so I'm playing DS3 offline and Heysel isn't showing up, which is kind of a big deal because I want her pick. I've tried leaving the swamp and coming back and I've tried restarting the game but Heysel won't invade.

A little Googling seems to indicate that red phantom NPCs no longer invade when you're playing offline, is this true or am I experiencing some kind of glitch?

The trick to beating bosses in dark souls is avoiding their attacks and hitting them during safe openings. Endgame DLC content isn't meant to be easy so don't be surprised if the successful execution of the above takes a couple tries.

This was the case with AoA previews as well. They provide overleveled and overpowered characters for press to use because they are painfully aware that press suck at videogames. The official intended level for AoA was 80, which is standard NG endgame SL. I see no reason for that to change in TRC and there has been no official word suggesting it.

False. The latest build shows that the 2bats is a single phase, you have to kill both to enter phase 2. Demon Prince may or may not have an extra phase, so at most it's 2 1/2 phases.

As for levels, the stock K***ht character is horribly minmaxed, it's 30/18 Str/Dex with sub-optimal Endurance, a shitty amount of Attunement and 40 Faith that's only used once or twice for the occasional (shitty) Sunlight Spear. The only optimal stat it has is 40 Vigor.

Strip the dead weight, and the K***ht from the press build is only SL76 in the stats that matter.

You probably won't find much use for a shield.
The standard dreg heap mooks deal dark damage with their melee attacks and everything else is either fuckhuge or elemental.

Dks2 and 3 didn't do nearly as much for me as the other soulsborne games.

It took me years to finish to finish DaS, I started playing then got bored, some months later I gave the game another chance with a new character, and got bored again. One year later I tried the game again and gave up one more time. I even finished DaS2 before 1, had lots of fun playing it.

Bows are kinda eh.
They start really weak, like impossible to efficiently kill things weak.
They gradually grow into a point where they feel pretty strong, strong enough to efficiently kill things
Then they reach their peak damage and things just keep getting stronger past them. There's a notable spike when you enter Lothric Castle where it suddenly just takes too fucking long to arrow things to death anymore

Also any enemy with a shield is cancer because you have no way around it. It's not even threatening, it's just a tedious wall of immunity.

The shortbow -> composite bow is your best bet for archery since they have the rolling attacks and the WA can be used to stack poison on bosses. Dragonrider Bow is good for sniping and mid-range damage where you know you won't have to roll.

Greatbows tend to fucking suck because their damage is barely better than normal bows despite the long windup and massive stamina cost. There only real value is knocking things over or delivering a slightly bigger alpha strike. Millwood is the best one here by a country mile. it's so much better than every other greatbow, it isn't even funny. The upside to Millwood is that you can circumvent shields with the WA, but the downside is that this is useless against most fast-moving sanic bloodborne knights who also happen to ALWAYS carry shields.

It's not terrible. I respecc'd to use it a few days ago, and the damage is good when buffed with one of its elements. However, you need to worry about upkeep on the buff, since the split damage really hurts the AT. And a duel charm is all it takes to make it worthless.

Just getting back into pvp before the ringed city hits, what are the weapon tiers atm, are buff builds still good or is it just quality now?

I'm hoping that for Froms next ARPG game they're able to make the make your own bonfire thing work.

If you look at DS3, a lot of areas seem designed around this but then had to have bonfires shoved everywhere like how the whole area from halfway fortress has a million bonfires.
Or how archdragon peak has a bonfire that spawns straight after the ancient wyvern fight which amusingly completely gets rid of the use of the elevator shortcut that leads from that building down to the first bonfire. Or how the shortcut from the darkwraith side in farron keep that links to the Black Knight with a Greatsword sideis useless thanks to so many bonfires.

This also is why you end up with a dragonslayer armour useless bonfire since they have one spawn after every boss regardless of whether it needs one. The Iudex Gundyr, Champion Gundyr, Crystal Sages, Vordt, Wolnir, Old Demon King, Aldrich, Abyss Watchers, Friede, NotSif, Dragonslayer Armour, Nameless King and Ancient Wyvern bonfires are all unnecessary and simply getting a homeward bone after beating em ala Dark Souls 1 would've been fine.
