If you use your Dragonfire Potions to clear the low level jades and the Lightbombs to clear the huge jades you can buy yourself enough time to win I think. I don't play priest so I don't know but it looks really strong.

They have hard time powercreeping MSOG.

For example, if they printed 3 mana 4/5, it would see no play. 2 mana 3/4 would see no play.

They need to add crazy effects to bodies of that caliber so that Ungoro cards would see ANY play. Its not happening, the powercreep is too much for the game.

MSOG will be the last powerful set in the game without major revamp/nerfs. Ungoro will be TGT without secret paladin

Seriously, why so much hate for this card?
My only 2 losses were to rogues with perfect curve...
In all 6 wins I used this card to either:
Swing face with low health minion and not lose it the next turn
Abuse a battlecry
Bounce Force tank with low health after clearing a sticky minion

Yes I understand its negative to meh tempo early-mid, but late game when its only 1-2 cards a turn max, when used right it has been a HUGE tempo swing for me.

Swap N'zoth package to anyfin package if you have finja, you only really want Tirion and Belcher from N'zoth, everything else is too slow. Qmaster and Justicar only relevant if you meet a lot of reno decks, pirates and jade don't care about them.

Is it worth it? Sure, if you actually liked Hearthstone.

You didn't miss much. There are still a fuck load of unplayable cards you don't have to worry about. Popular decks right now are pretty straight forward in how to play them.

"Classic" mode you speak of is called "Wild" where every card in the history of the game is allowed. It's played by people when they're bored or just want to do something different. There are people who exclusively play Wild but they are much fewer than Standard.

I'd hesitate on suggesting it to a friend unless they have a history with card games, or are completely fine with losing a lot at rank 20, or if they're willing to put a few bucks into this game to get a jump start.

Best decks right now are Pirate Warrior and Jade Druid.

There are currently two play modes: Wild and Standard.

Wild includes all cards. It currently is the less played mode, and is considered as just a fun one by most player, not the real one, but Blizzard said they will push this mode in the future.

Standard only includes cards from the Basic and Classic sets (with a few exceptions) and from the sets that were launched during the last two years. It is considered the real, most serious play mode, but currently the meta is garbage, with only a very small number of viable overpowered decks.

A new year is starting soon for Hearthstone. In less than a month, lots of cards will rotate out and a new expansion will come out. Even though it's the best possible time to (re)start playing Hearthstone, noone expects the meta to really change, because the most overpowered decks don't use important cards that will rotate out. We still don't know most of the cards coming in the new set, though.

Hearthstone is also still extremely jew, even more than before in fact. I'd suggest not playing just because I care about you and don't want you to loose money because of a stupid and worthless addiction. Two important changes were made very recently to Hearthstone's business model:
- a huge increase of european prices for everything.
- there will no longer be any adventure. Instead, new sets, meaning more money to spare.

Also, the new expansion will require crafting more legendaries (and spending more money) because all classes will have two legendaries rather than one.

I enjoy playing HS. Arena is a nice way to have fun without money, tavern brawls grant free packs and gold and you get free packs for doing some beginner quests.

Alright I'll make a list of problems, also I am a master player in the game and enjoy it.

1. The decks with most degenerate play style are the strongest. The decks that vomit out minions without thinking are highly oppressive to anyone playing anything interesting/fun. You can easily die on turn 6/7 if a highly aggressive deck gets the god draw, even if your deck is completely teched against it.
One particulary annoying decks strategy is to evolve a 5 drop and charge it in the face, and then guarantee tutor the other two 5 drops and charge them into the face as well. The deck has no other strategy.

2. D-shift stops control. You can't play a grinder deck or a deck focused on the late game, due to the highly efficient combo of D-shift. Even though this deck is auto lose to aggro for whatever reason people love playing this deck on ladder, if queue a control deck expect at least 2 out of 10 games to be losses to D-shift.

3. First vs second, now the match up database will disagree with this, but first vs second is highly warped in SPECIFIC match ups. So often in a mirror going first vs going second just decides the game. In aggro vs aggro going first often means in a win. If it is a control match where you have a win con on turn 8 (nep/seraph/etc) you almost always win by just winning the coin flip in the beginning.

4. The meta gets stale real fast, much like hearthstone people just play the most powerful decks which incidentally as I said before have the most degenerate play style.

I'm not that guy but one thing is it will forever be seen as a weeb game. It has extremely limited growth potential and will literally never overtake any western card game. It can only be a niche asian game in the same vein as jrpg's that only a small but dedicated fanbase will play. On your first point, I agree with the first part that Daria shit out minions are very degenerated and should be nerfed. They should encourage things like combo which actually needs some to put some thoughts into it. The second part about aggro. It is pretty much what aggro is suppose to do. They are suppose to kill you early before you can do anything if they got the perfect hand.

On your second point, I fully agree with you. D-shift is the cancer and you should rope them every time you face them. Spread the word around.

On your third point, yeah I agree with you. They need to change how being first and second work again because it clearly show certain win bias. Half of my game was decided on the coin flip. I have no idea how to make it work better than current system so we have to just depend on the devs.

On 4th point, yeah, because of netdecks, meta just form within a week a new expansion is out. However, this can be prevented by making the deck that is hardest to play the strongest deck. Last time when it was PtP forest that was the strongest it was actually fun because you really need to think through everything to win. Plebs can't just netdeck and hope that the deck will carry them to victory without them making some real input.

Patron warrior is the closest thing we have, but Blizzard decided to nerf it because it is unfun for the plebs to watch in tourney and unfun for the netdeckers to play as they actually can't get a good winrate with it.

PtP forest I would say is a deck that has a high winrate and high skill ceiling deck too.
