It's 2 areas with 2 fortresses. The first one has the big Gogmazios cannon and the ending one is the standard Dragonator.

They added the little rail cart cannon as well that travels along the tracks for the first part.

No, the dunes are probably my least favorite map of all. I dislike it so much that it makes me dislike the others as well.

Maybe I'm just out of practice but is Gen supposed to be way harder than 4U? I can reliably solo pretty much everything in 4U barring a couple 140s but in Gen I still have a handful of 7 star quests and deviants left because I can't beat them solo.

Again, maybe it's just because I haven't played in awhile but these last few quests are seriously throwing me through a loop
