Whilst it's a good item in a vacuum, it suffers from the issue that many "good" items on CK have in general, they're midgame and end up having to be replaced. Armlet, Echo Sabre, that's basically 5k worth of items you'll have to replace in a potential lategame. Echo sabre isn't bad per se, it's just situational.

Skadi, however, is a good pickup in general yes.

Oh shit, didn't even realize. Been spamming Pudge the entire night trying to get the calculations back on track so I'm kinda slaughtered.

Now the hook is noticeably slower (9,375% to be precise), but not slow enough to fuck everything up. I've been both overshooting and undershooting all sorts of hooks but after enough trial and error I figured out the middle ground again and things pretty much went back to normal.

Overall this change is great. If you can consistently lead targets and hit hooks the 9.375% speed nerf isn't significant enough. If you cant lead targets then you are fucked.
It's a big nerf that mostly affects shitters and will ensure that Pudge will remain secretly OP.

Though I have noticed that it is a whole lot easier to dodge mid-long range hooks, so no more ez captain obvious fishing.

I would argue the HH is worth it, because Weaver and SF are annoying to deal with.

CK got a huge buff, from the fact that now you can actually itemize for damage on him as opposed to being stuck on just stacking STR and hoping the enemy doesn't notice your 150 AS, measltrom->mjorn gives a decent midgame farming push with the lighting and mjorn itself gives you an almost 100% physical DPS increase on top of the lightning proc from attacks and the lighting procs from static charge.
Armlet a shit because you are spending 3k on some health that you don't actually care about at the end of the day since you have absurdly good STR gain in the first place, neglible attack speed when compared to actual attack speed items, and flat damage + armor that doesn't work on your illusions.

You farm your lane max W, 6 second CD 700 range pull that costs 50 mana is insanely strong midgame where people don't yet have shitloads of escape items, the -armor is a good DPS increase to boot.
Crit gives you more damage, more lifesteal and is overall really useful
Q gives you an average of 2 seconds of extra stun (because of the way dota calculates the stun duration a stun that would have stunned for 1 second at level 1 stuns for 3 at level 4, a stun that would have stunned for 2 seconds at level 1 stuns for 4 at level 4, you never GAIN more than 2 seconds of stun out of the 3 points, this compared to the extra crit damage or massive CD reduction on your W is just not a good trade)
A level 1 ult at WORST doubles your damage output with a chance of triple it instead, get soul ring and just spam that shit when its off CD early game, and it's free kills/a lane everyone is too scared to stop you from pushing.

Day9 was never a part of "us" to begin with.
I'm fairly confident that the only reason Purge and Day9 did their Dota thing together was because Valve contacted them, asked them and probably paid them to as well to give Dota some more exposure.

How do high MMR players and pros seem to always know when the enemy team is not only just doing roshan, but also when roshan is right about to die?:
Whenever I watch high MMR and pro games there's always some guy jumping into rosh literally right as the other team is about to kill it - nearly or actually getting an aegis steal. How do they predict that so well?
I have 5k hours in the game and I can't even do that shit.

I would argue +400 health, +3 armor, +20 damage and +240 mana was worth far more than her entire talent tree.
Ancients is generally terrible if everyone already has hit level 25, unlike Chen who can literally Aghs rush from 0:00 and get them early.

She is still the same hero as she ever was: A Subpar Chen during laning, but can start pushing T1 towers at 1:00, while Chen is waiting to hit level 3.
The damage cap on her ultimate really doesn't matter
The 6.84 change also meant she isn't a worse OD, the one where she now pierces BKB with Impetus

Theoretically she is a great hero who is both a Worse OD, Worse Chen and Worse Permaslower.
Just keep that in mind.
