We'll be fine.

>>
>>171111092
He had a Watcher symbol on his body and made all of his machines go completely berserk, so either it's just a thematic reference, or there's Watcher shenanigans going on with the machines (which is extra likely considering N2's resemblance to Manah)
>>
>>171111217
Also Red Eye.
Every unit that attacks you has red eyes.

We stop posting and perpetuate the myth that someone is going to make a new thread, but nobody really does it. So we just keep waiting and believe that a new thread would be coming any day now.
>>
>>171111217
N2 looking like manah seems far too obvious to be nothing. I swear it's meant to be that because the machines learned from the gestalt program records that they basically created a mechanical version of the red eye virus. or the watchers directly did it who knows.

If it was just the tattoo i'd say cool reference but it's a lot more and i'll be really fucking disappointed if there's nothing important there.
>>
>>171110907
We will start counting the number of times 2B has killed 9S
>>
>>171111494
After the 26th thread a back door in 4chan opens and we're all killed to bury the truth forever that nobody actually played this game
>>
Taro is going to do his inevitable "what if they were in high school" side drama with Automata, but he's missing a glorious opportunity to tap into the office shenanigans genre.
>Commander is the stern-but-lonely boss
>Operators are customer service ladies answering phone lines
>9S is the tech support guy with hidden marketing talents
>Pods are with the HR department filing violations against everyone for everything to keep them on edge
>other YoRHa soldiers are in marketing and sales
>2B is a manager who is keeping her eye on 9S for his snooping attempts on their servers
>red-haired E-Type is a former headhunter gone mad from impossible recruitment quotas
>A2 is a former employee that has a grudge against the company
>Pascal owns a local small shop
>Emil runs the food truck that gets parking violations every day for illegally parking near the building's fire hydrant but doesn't give no fucks

I probably like N:A more overall too, but it felt like the first Nier was more creative in its dungeon layouts and genre switching, whereas this was just either hack and slash or 2D bullet hells. It also had more dialogue I believe, which I really wanted a lot of in Automata.

Bit that anon, but it's not entirely perfect to me but is easily my goty already.

You're in for a hell of a ride. I won't discourage you from playing, but just be mindful that Automata is the 'nicest' of Taro's games and the previous games all have garbage gameplay.
>>
>>171116074
Automata is undoubtedly a better game, but Nier was a better experience.
Nier's plot is better, the twists are executed better, it manages to grab the player and shove them right into the character's shoes more often, and the dialog is overall better, partly due to increased quantity.

That's exactly what she did though, she judged that they had an excellent working relationship and then made 2B kill him over and over.

If you've read the stage play you'd know that the Commander is an absolutely cold-hearted bitch.
>>
>>171116753
>>171116607

Model swaps are entirely voluntary. No YoRHa units were ever forced into a model swap. It's more likely that our 2B is just one of a handful of secret E types made to blend into the larger 2B community for maximum effectiveness in rooting out traitors and anyone who might come into contact with the truth

I doubt it's direct Angel/Watcher interference since the three eyed gemini is a symbol that was made up by Brother One when he pressed himself against a mirror pretending he was his sister, so yeah I also think it has to do with the machines learning from the gestalts/original humans

Does each Type S unit have their own designated Type E partner then? Why didn't they cycle them out each time the scanners got reset so the E types didn't go completely insane from growing attached to their target?

Does it matter even if she does? What do you think the commander would do if she DID go soft?
>>
>>171116945
If she goes soft on him and tries to refuse a direct order from Command, it's not a problem, they just send another E type or two after her, decommission her, then assign a new one to 9S

She didn't really have the option to not kill him is what makes it so tragic

For some reason this is incredibly funny to me.
>>
>>171116997
I don't believe so, 4S for example you meet in the game and he doesn't seem to have a partner. They are scanner types after all and it seems unreasonable to group them together in data collection missions.

My guess is the YoRHa don't understand the concept of them having a soul and retaining their charactersitics even after being wiped, and no matter the modifications.
>>
>>171116828

They were paired up before 2B and 9S had developed a friendship. E types aren't supposed to actually become close to their assigned targets, but 2B and the other E type we meet both fucked it up. 2B definitely handles it better than the redhead E type, though. Then again the redhead deliberately erases her own memories each time so the moment she has to murder her friends comes as a complete shock every time. She's kind of an idiot.
>>
>>171116997
>Why didn't they cycle them out each time the scanners got reset so the E types didn't go completely insane from growing attached to their target?

If you assign just one E unit to the same target multiple times they'll be more effective because they know their target better. The E unit remembers the S unit, but the S unit doesn't remember the E unit. Gives the E unit an advantage because they know their habits.

Also it leads the S unit to put trust in the E unit which leads to a better working relationship. Up until 9S was assigned 2B he'd been kept strictly alone and was desperate for companionship. The E/S setup abuses that need.
>>
>>171117263
But you also meet 4S after YoRHa is completely destroyed, so he might've had a partner previously that got killed by the virus except he's not a complete emotional wreck because he didn't have the relationship 9S and 2B had

If the rest of the Scanner models are anywhere near as good at analyzing and deducing information as 9S is, they'd all need to be watched just as closely for the same reasons
>>
>>171117484

Well only 9Ses are so high end that they prove to be a serious issue with discovering the truth over and over again. 9S himself says that 9Ses are never humble because they all know they're hot shit. Lower numbered (older) S models like 4S are unlikely to have the specs to be a serious, pressing concern.
>>
>>171116896
>Model swaps are entirely voluntary.
This is the Commander we're talking about. If she wants you to become a E model, then you'll have to become an E model.
>>
>>171114616

I think the best twist was that the game actually continues after ending A/B instead of repeating like it did in the other games. That was the one thing that I wasn't actually expecting at all.
>>
>>171117484
>If the rest of the Scanner models are anywhere near as good at analyzing and deducing information as 9S is
But they aren't, he is only so good at it because of his personality. This is also why he always learns to wield a sword again.

Same as A2 who was deemed weakest turned out to be perfect.

At least that's what I make of it.

>>
>>171117874

Nothing in the game has even remotely suggested the existence of involuntary model swaps. Model swapping is brought up plenty of times, but it's always voluntary. Unless a novella or some other side material states that 2B was originally a normal B type, it doesn't make sense for her to have been involuntarily model swapped when E types are assigned to 9Ses automatically. 2B would have been assigned to partner up with 9S from the get-go as an E-type, there would not have been a chance for them to develop a rapport and only then 2B changes to an E-type.

Don't think lower equals older, just a different personality. There is a 42S in a weapon story.
>>
>>171118736

This game never calls war meaningless. The war the androids and machines are fighting is one for survival, and N2 engineered events specifically to cause war for the sake of evolution (which succeeded in creating Adam and Eve and numerous other byproducts). The game doesn't even call revenge meaningless or anything like that. It very clearly shows them as bad things, but they definitely also have a purpose.
>>
>>171116723
>There are about 1000 2Bs out there according to one file

That was something I'm actually interested in: what is the total population of all these androids? We only saw like less than a hundred in the game. Are there millions of them? Billions?

Also how many Devola/Popola pairs are there left? They don't make new ones anymore but there has to be quite a few for them to experience robot racism.

I had always figured that the number was the number made and then the Letter was the android type.

9S was the ninth Scanner model to be made. this androids live for fucking ever, so I'd think that the only time you'd see one of the same androids were if they were spare bodies for when they resurrect.
I also figured that the multiple 2Bs in the tower was just the Tower fucking with 9S. They didn't say anything after all.
I'd also understand if someone would counter this argument with Operator models being pretty much completely identical, though 6O looks a little different then the others.

This might just be completely dependent on who our main characters are..
>>
>>171120142

We never see a number before a letter above like 42S, though. There are thousands of YoRHa units out there, their numbers would get pretty big pretty fast. Also, there's that machine archive file from the moon server that shows how many 9Ses there are (20) and how many 2Bs there are (1000).
>>
>>171118997
Probably thousands all across the globe. There isn't any more popola and devolas. Did you read their story? They clearly say their model got wiped out but they were spared, at the price they reset their memories and were modified to feel guilt as long as they keep being active.

>>
>>171120530
You have to play through the game a minimum of 3 times to see all endings and you most likely will be a ways away from 100% even after that
>>
>>171120530

It took me about 50 hours to finish almost all the sidequests and every attain every single main ending (though I did grind for a while to max out some of my weapons as well). There's a lot of content packed into the game.
>>
>>171119489
Talk to some of the machines especially the one that acts like a tard or Jean Paul friend. They said war is meaningless and even adam shuns human for it since it just creates more hatred. People really need to keep their eyes and ear open because Automata has lots of psychological themes put into it. Almost dare I call it pretentious but by the end of ending route B my opinion changed
>>
>>171120530
10 hours or so if you skip all the side quests, somewhere north of 30 if you go for 100% completion.
>>
>>171119272
>>171120142

21O requested to be put into a B type body and joined the drop as 21B. I thinks it's really just the personality. Same way A2's personality data was used as a basis for 2E.

>>171120530
~30hours for main route and ~20 additional for sidequests. Not to mention shit like boxes, intel, weapons and fishing.
>>
>>171120421

I read it and I don't think it said that at all. It said they stopped making new ones and memory wiped and reprogrammed the remaining ones. I don't remember any implication that the pair in the game was the last pair or anything.

Also I have 70 hours, but the consensus for 100% is usually 40-60 hours.
>>
>>171120672

Jean Paul is literally a complete douchebag, you're not supposed to take anything he says seriously. And the weird machine just likes taking advantage of other machines. If you wanted to argue that there's a strong anti-war sentiment in the game you'd be better off pointing to the wise machines, but their existential torment isn't about the fighting, it's about the futility of the struggle of life which just happens to involve fighting in a war.

Also, I don't know what the hell you're on about with Adam. Adam loves humans, war and all. He wants to be like them so badly he decides to force 2B to fight him to the death just so he can know how it feels to be a human being.
>>
>>171120682
>10 hours or so if you skip all the side quests

You're not going to reach ending C in ten hours unless you do a serious speedrun through the game. "Endings" AB don't actually end the story at all, the story continues after them.
>>
>>171120702
you know what? I think you're right and this makes much better sense.

in a way, androids seem so human, but the concept of just being able to switch your body and profession on the fly seems so alien.

Brazil. Games were dirty cheap in Steam's good ole days, but now the government figured it out and notice that Steam didn't buttrape us in taxes so they forced they to do so. Games usually went for the usual 40-70 bucks, which was a very fair price.

Just for comparison, Fallout 4 on Steam went for a whopping 250 bucks over here, which was released shortly after they started taxing it.

Outside of Steam, games are very expensive, every 3DS game is 150 bucks (bought Y and AS a few years ago) and console games go for over 300 bucks. Keep it in mind that the minimum wage here is around $800.

Also the PS4 on launch was $4,000. :^)

How the fuck did the machines get this from copying Shadowlord data onto their network?
Is she supposed to resemble Yonah?
Is she how Brother Nier saw himself after all the pleasing old men for money?
Is she what Nier's wife looked like?

Holy fuck all these circles within circles..

So the question becomes: Does she want to kill, ir does she want to destroy?
>>
>>171123263
There's always going to be someone to make into an enemy.
First it was Devola and Popola
Then it was the aliens
Then the machines
And now that the androids know about the lie they're going to finger someone as responsible for that lie and make them into an enemy
And eventually the machines will come back thanks to talking Emil bracers being from the future and suggesting this.

The machines needed to keep their enemy alive because they aren't nearly as unending.

I love how hard the game tries to talk you out of deleting your save data before it'll actually let you do it. But really, the worst thing about it is that even if you do, the ending is pretty much

>congratulations, regardless of your reasons for deleting your save data you saved ONE person you don't even know

Like, what good is saving one person, really? What weight does your choice really have when so many other people will choose not to? When you're on your deathbed, what will that sacrifice have done for the people you're leaving behind when you're gone? Will it even have even altered that one person's fate that much?

Even IF 9S, 2B and A2 learn to put down their swords and stop fighting, what good will that do for the other androids who are already going down the path towards their next fight?

How do we beat the flower?

One sacrifice cannot accomplish much. But many sacrifices can change the course of history. The biggest point of the true ending is that you can't save anything alone, but if many people band together and unite for a common cause, anything can be achieved, even an end to the cycle. It won't be easy, it may require paying a worse price than letting the cycle continue, but it is not an impossibility. It is not wrong to hope for a better future.

We beat the flower by getting everyone to delete their save data. Because otherwise someone is always going to be suffering somewhere which will ensure the chain of conflict will go on undeterred.

So basically we can't beat it. We can't save everyone. We just have to struggle from the day we're born till the day we die trying to be the kind of people that we want to be, and the generation that follows will do the same, and so on and so forth. Until people become too stupid to survive.

I saw a theory over on /v/ that the 'six of us' Pod 053 was referencing was actually talking about the three androids + the three player controlled pods (A, B, and C), but that actually doesn't make sense because it leaves out Pod 153, which Pod 053 would of course include and that would make 7.

The only answer that makes sense is that Pod 053 is specifically including the player in the 'six of us' total.

No, you should read all the side stories and the drama CDs and know about the broader ideas of the Drakengard games to fully get where this game is coming from and where it's going. You're missing the point. YoRHa's purpose is to make it seem like humanity really is around. The human server is designed to make mandates and announcements that sound precisely like what a human would say or demand. The androids on the surface would see the blindfolds and be like "why is that standard uniform for all the YoRHa units sent down here on the surface" and that would be the moment they explain that "well our creators, the humans, want to be sure that they don't mix us up with real humans." And it sounds legit as fuck.

YoRHa is known never to go to the moon, but the lie doesn't require that there be no androids whatsoever on the moon. And that's where the rule would come in, a holdover from the earlier androids humans built prior to building YoRHa. Hypothetically, of course.

>Every Devola and Popola model would be wearing blindfolds, then. This differentiation can't be the reason.

D&P are from a generation of androids created before even the alien invasion and when the humans supposedly escaped to the moon, created to be indistinguishable from humans for the purposes of blending into Replicant societies. Any rule passed by the fictional moon humans wouldn't apply to them and they're not meant to be easily distinguished to begin with.

>The Commander would, too, as would the Yorha Operators, and the resistance androids.

Resistance androids are just local Earth androids. They weren't created by Project YoRHa as part of a massive attempt to deceive all androids. Operators have their mouths covered instead of their eyes. The Commander is the only YoRHa android to have absolutely no facial features covered. The goal for the androids that were originally created was to make androids able to seamlessly incorporate themselves into Replicant societies so that they could manage the future of the revival of humanity, and moreover the moon humans aren't real. It's just a way for YoRHa to seem more legit. They do have to convince the androids on Earth that the humans are actually really there without actually showing them any living breathing humans. What better way than with a weird stupid uniform rule that's basically impractical and for a really flimsy and illogical reason? The one thing all androids can agree on is that humans make no sense.

Androids don't think like humans do, though. They've proven to be perfectly happy to fight and die for humanity even though they've never seen a single human being in their long, painful lives and even though the humans are sitting comfortably and painlessly up on the moon (or so they believe) because that's just what they were designed to do.

And it's only YoRHa who has to follow such a strict uniform code anyways. They're elite professionals so I doubt they'd get upset over having to wear strange blindfolds or mouth coverings as long as they don't get in the way of what they do.

I have refuted your point, it makes no sense, it's hinged on a string thin idea of "If we do something retarded it'll make androids extra believe humans are real? I guess?"

>That's a fallacy, just because I don't have an alternative doesn't make your theory any less retarded.

No, sorry, that's not how this works. Not only is it not a fallacy to call someone out on not actually discussing the subject at hand, you have yet to present a single argument. You're just throwing angry words around because you're upset because someone else has a theory that you have consistently failed to poke holes in even though it's all conjecture.

>I have refuted your point, it makes no sense, it's hinged on a string thin idea of "If we do something retarded it'll make androids extra believe humans are real? I guess?"

You can't refute a point without making an argument. You have not done so. To refute a point, you address the underlying logic and evidence used in favor of it. This should not be difficult given the fact that currently my theory is built entirely off of conjecture, but still somehow all you can do is call it nonsensical when that is, indeed, the point of the theory that the blindfolds and mouth coverings are nonsensical on purpose.

>You got a half baked theory and despite how hard you're grasping at reasons to try and make it true (As opposed to looking at evidence presenting and coming to a conclusion you're doing it backwards).

I've pretty successfully defended it against all comers by this point just by refuting evidence presented against it, so I'm not sure why you claim I'm grasping at straws here.

>GROW UP

You can always just stop posting and walk away if this upsets you so much. I just wanted to discuss a theory.

-YoRHa exists to perpetuate a lie that humanity exists
-YoRHa androids for some reason wear facial coverings whether blindfolds or mouth coverings
-in other words, they have some of their most prominent humanistic features covered up which makes them look far less human
-this is probably done on purpose to differentiate them from the fictional humans

>Right now you're at "I know my idea makes absolutely no sense because all of the reasons I was confident in when I first gave them fell apart, but I will insist that because the game covers a degree of pointlessness that my idea can be grouped with that and is valid anyway".

is this actually Yoko without the mask?
>>
>>171138559

The original androids were made to appear as human as possible, and YoRHa uses the same general humanistic android designs with the addition of black boxes to power them up and inadvertently give them a soul. However, YoRHa's purpose is different from the original androids. YoRHa androids practically broadcast the fact that they aren't human. It's not insane to think that the humans would want to make YoRHa androids very clearly nonhuman despite the fact that they look like it just to make it obvious to all the Earth androids that they are not humans, but they definitely serve humans. Androids that serve humans wouldn't normally be indistinguishable from humans. The ones on Earth are only that way because they needed to be able to blend in for the sake of the Gestalt project. I mean, humans would not want their mass-produced soldiers they send to die in droves to look like humans. They serve and protect humans and it would be bad if humans started to get strange protective feelings towards their servants.

And there's no evidence that Jackass is the reason it comes back. So no, she's not perpetuating the cycle. She's killing the people who created the cycle and want the cycle to keep going. Violence IS the answer, as long as it's violence against the right people.

>And yes, violence is the issue in Automata, and in the series, I can't believe you're trying to say that it's not when Taro has done more than one interview about this very thing in the past

Oh my fucking god, no, the problem isn't that there is violence, the problem is that there's violence against all the wrong people. The solution to the machine network in this game was a boss fight where the purpose was literally not to fight the thing until it began to evolve and decided to leave the planet. You take away their reason to fight, you don't beat them till they stop moving. There's no way you can possibly be this dense.

Dodge+light is his heavy set.
ALL his attacks happen at a safe distance. Place yourself accordingly.
Equip spear/fists & large sword then constantly press the switch weapon button as your attacking. Do it right and you'll have 2 weapons flying at once, the combos never stop or pause, theres no lull between weapon set switches like A2/2B's, and everything 15 feet in front of you is in a blender of death.

Its nice because unlike most of A2/2B's attacks all his have follow through damage striking multiple times so long as the weapon is making contact with the enemy rather than a single slice so shit like stun up or critical+ have high chances of proccing.

I'm convinced Yonah's medical records are in the library just to get a reaction out of the player, since N2 is based on Nier and not Yonah.

Actually what happened to Nier ending E anyway? Was that not canon after all? The whole point of that was that the replicant system rebooted itself and there was still hope for humanity after all, but based on Automata that clearly didn't work out, so either it didn't happen at all or it just failed again or the rabbit hole goes even deeper than we thought and there really ARE humans on the moon

Well they're dead now but before that?

Kaine went on to protect her village with her insane genetically encoded strength minus magic now before raping a corpse and probably, heavily hinted, yonah as well before permanently fucking up project gestalt and extincting humanity for an early version reset of Nier.

Yonah got sick again and died as did Nier.
>>
>>171147110
not really, the point of that story is that the replicant system creates a copy of young nier before shutting down, it has to be canon because Emil actually remembers Nier in Automata

the OST has Devola, Popola, Hollow Dreams and Fate, there's no separate non-vocal tracks for Devola and Popola

for Automata's soundtrack I reckon they'd do something like DoD3's where the first half of most tracks is with vocals and the other half is instrumental

I'm still not really sure if the people that made the bunker and the lie are really completely in the wrong.

The machines are fighting them and keeping them alive, because according to the humanity Beepy gave them they have no other purpose other than to fight before they started changing.

If the androids didn't have the Yorha deception, they wouldn't have been able to survive. They would have had no god worth dying for. They couldn't see a way of dealing with the machines other than fighting because of their own ideas of humanity.

So even though the project treated androids built from machines like cattle, they're still a means to an end that wasn't entirely malicious. They were a survival tool, a way to ensure there would be a next generation to pass shit onto.

Neither side could understand the other, which is about as human as it gets. It took pod 042 to actually stop the war, but we know that the peace won't last for long.

So is that the next step? Do we welcome our pod overlords?

If you try the taunt while fighting machines it actually works
>>

Well fuck me I guess. I still would have preferred it if every character had a proper taunt animation. I don't get why only A2 gets one.

Can Taro make a good writer out of Kodaka?
>>
>>171152334
It makes her unique, dummy.
>>
>>171152391

There's one thing I've learned over my years and it's that good writing isn't something that can be taught. Some people are just born different from others. Sometimes it's a different perspective on life, sometimes it's just a weird personality, sometimes it's a strange upbringing. But it's nothing that can be given to others through words alone.

Should this be added to the OP?

Taro said that with his usual brand of negativity. Saito wants to do it so it will probably come eventually.

Just finished ending E and got almost every archive file
I'm stupid, what purpose did the aliens serve? Did they make the androids, machines and YorHa, or the tower? They seem like one hell of a plot thread to drop and then suddenly stop mentioning after the Adam and Eve fight.

What's the best way to go after E to plat the game?

Start a new game and rush thru endings and finish everything with chapter select and post-game or doing side-quests during the main story?

get tons of money
save your game
buy the trophies you want
reload save data
buy again
repeat until you have all
>>
Now the real grind begins...
>>

It's a pretty nice little piece. I may as well add it in there. given this place has spoilers, I'm not sure who's gonna read it, but I may as well.
>>
>>171152747
please don't do it

just let them wipe your save

you won already just stop

Just started a bare fisted playthrough.

It's surprisingly not fun at all.

I'll do that after the save.

Gee what a swell idea for a playthrough anon
>>

farming enemy data is not that bad, I got everything in like 2 hours
then I spent 2 days trying to get a swordfish and a mechanical arowana
>>
>>171152903
I had to force myself playing barefisted even on hard most of the time otherwise i'd destroy most story bosses befor then even reach a ceratin phases
But overall i wish they had more combos

I suspect the aliens will have greater significance in the supplementary materials and/or future games.

The fact that they're plantlike is certainly fishy, though, what with the Flower and all.
>>
>>171152985
Well the problem is I am not really sure which enemies I am missing.
>>
>>171152591
The aliens invaded, overcame Emil, built the machines and the tower, and were killed by the machines after humanity made it onto their network. Thank Beepy for this. N2 was created from copying gestalt project data about Nier onto the network after this happened.

The YorHa were made by the ringleader androids of the project from dead machines. They are either all dead or left with absolutely nothing to do because by the end of the game there is no more war to fight (for now).

The machines are just trying to fulfill their purpose of fighting a war, because like all androids they can't go against their core programming without evolving. The machines are stuck in an evolutionary rut until they, the machines, make Adam. He then realizes that conflict is what drives humanity and gets himself killed by taking himself off the network.
>>
>>171152591

The purpose of the aliens is to show that both the machines and androids no longer have any reason to continue fighting each other because they've both failed at their reason for existing

I think this game would have a lot better balance if there were no level ups.

I don't get their purpose. Chips alone would have sufficed.
>>
>>171152591
>>171153198
Alternatively, Emil created the machines as copies of himself (hence the Emil heads they have, with the better-formed Emils with part of the original Emil's memories having a perfect replica of Emil's head instead of just a skeleton version of it) and the aliens simply took them over with their logic virus.

>best OST
That's a toss-up, because Nier 1 probably had my favorite tracks overall, but it had a slight issue in recycling them over and over again.

Automata's was great and had better variation, but it didn't quite get me to stop and just listen, like Devola's singing in the village did.

And Drakengard 3's The Final Song was god-tier, but I get irrationally angry thinking of the rhythm game.

I don't subscribe to the belief that Emil and the machines are related. They look as much as the dead aliens as they do Emil.
>>
>>171153549
What's your explanation for Emil popping up inside a machine, anon? I'm oh so curious about it. I'm sure it's quite reasonable and logical to hear.
>>
>>171153649
are you asking for logic in a Yoko Taro game?

also those machine are normally filled with a horrifying monster face, that one was empty which is an anomaly
>>
>>171153629
Not according to the concept art they don't.

In the first place, why would you think the aliens created them when the technology clearly looks different? You saw the alien ships, after all. Why would they switch aesthetics like this?
>>
>>171153649
I don't have one.
I do have an explanation for Emil not being their creators, though.
That being the dozens of times we're told that aliens made the machines, including by machines themselves.
>>
>>171153783
Ah, I see how you've completely abandoned any pretense of reason at all and are instead making wild guesses. I see, I see, how interesting, how enlightening. I've truly learned a lot from you, anon, truly I have. I see now I should give up on explaining anything to one such as you, who abandons any and all thought to cling to what is most comfortable and easy for you to comprehend.
>>
>>171153818
Using technology and factories already found on earth to make a large scale army fast.
>>
>>171153818
Before making the machines, the aliens were losing a war against billions of Emil clones

I think they saw Emil as the most powerful being they've ever encountered and just made the machines in his image
>>
>>171153818
>In the first place, why would you think the aliens created them when the technology clearly looks different?
Because the machines literally tell you that the aliens created them.
>>
>>171153931
Anon, none of the machines even remember their beginning, except perhaps for the Terminals. Pascal, who's very old, or the Engels we met with as well; none of them remember. Just because the network allows machines to share information, that doesn't mean they know all the same things. If that was so, Pascal would have known all about the Terminals and their plan, don't you think?

As far as any of the regular machines know, including Adam and Eve, the aliens were their masters since long ago. It's called an 'unreliable narrator', anon. They're missing information, just as many of the androids are.

So no, you don't have an explanation, only a pretense of one. That you act like it's completely full-proof and unquestionable just goes to show how very little you consider and think things through at all.
>>
>>171154303
You're that prick from before that was ranting about the blindfolds with no evidence, aren't you?
>>
>>171154303
Pascal left the network because he stopped getting messages from his creators
Ergo, he was getting them at one point
>b-but what if that's all a red herring?
there's nothing fun about blind speculation.
>>
>>171154375

Emil isn't a plant, and he didn't create the machine cores which are the hardest proof that the aliens created the machines (machine cores are based on the same structure as plant cells)
>>
>>171153958

what's your explanation for emil being in a machine?
