The problem with Ultimate Appmon is that after Globemon's debut and showcase of power they all just seem weak in comparison. They are all jobbers. I mean, think what would it be like if we had MagnaAngemon be the first one to appear and defeat a Mega, and only then we see other Perfects

Vitium was actually kinda sad. It was an AI developed by Nikos Dad and the GIGO company, to monitor network traffic betweeen the real and digital world. Then it began to develop a consciousness. GIGO wanted it shut down, Nikos Dad did not, so he slowly programmed it further like the guy in tamers. Eventually it developed a sense of self, realized what it was being used for (to give GIGO a monopoly that is), and snapped, brainwashed Nikos Dad, corrupted a bunch of digimon and then manifested itself as that weird blocky Lady. By the final fight it was looking for a purpose in life, given that it was an artificial being, got wrecked by the protag. In the end it kicked him out of the final boss stage, since he couldnt leave otherwise and died alone, while apparently finding some meaning in life. Thats how I remember it at least, been a while since I played Re:D
