The original didnt have that option, so adding in changing dialog would probably be beyond their control. But yeah, I get that its way harder to use gender neutral stuff in conversation in English than Jap, but making an effort would have been nice

The latest issue of japanese magazine V-Jump reveals a new Digimon game titled DIGIMON STORY EXMACHINA for Playstation 4 and Playstation VITA.

Due out in 2018, the game combines regular monster training RPG gameplay with slice of life sections. The story introduction says as follows: "When the protagonist is obliged to leave his country after being accused of his father's strange murder, the town of Small Fuefuki becomes a new home that bridges his world and the digital one". The town this game seems to be based on is the real life location that inspired Atlus for Inaba in Persona 4. But that place doesn't exist anymore (it ceased existence in 2011 iirc)

No there isn't. Also, the latest V-Jump isn't out until next week. The only way there'd be early info is if it's from subscribers who received it in the mail early.
