Also yeah, you're right. Swap modded vpks for backups before an update, then take the source files and incorporate into the updated vpks. That said, I've taken crosshairs and lens flares off. Now using that desktop overlay thing and just trying not to look up on exoplanet. The latter of these is a pain in the ass.

I've been using overlay reticles on shooter games for years and I've never ever heard of anyone getting banned for them.

Anyone else still experiencing stutters from time to time? I know a few anons were and I found a fix for it if you're on AMD.

In your radeon settings override the anistropic filtering and find the setting that works best for your card. I did that and I've had zero stutter since.

Apparently the filtering code is optimized for nvidia architecture. I set that and now I'm getting a smooth 144 with no intermittent stutter.

dont. the turbo that comes with these chips is not good, i dont think it overclocks every core. turn it off and do a manual overclock. that board is a 6+2 power phase so you can probably get a 4.3-4.5ghz overclock without touching the voltage.

While holding crouch key, jump while you are still boosting. Your gun should stay sideways. Hold crouch and tap jump again the moment you hit the ground. If you do it right you can maintain your speed indefinitely.

Also be sure you memorize your sprinting speed. I see noobs slide hopping even slower than normal running speed sometimes because they haven't got the feel for it.

grapple is absolutely useful for ascending. As you'll see in the vid, you can basically use it to fly straight up 90 degree inclines. I suppose the only reason it would be "bad" to do so would be that if you're going straight up, you're not going fast. But there's always going to opportunities where it's useful.

I used Northstar all the way to Gen 8 and decided that I would pick up Ronin. I reached the same level in roughly half the time it took with Northstar.

I've been an Ion main since forever and I had zero issues adjusting to Northstar. I was topscoring with her after one game already.

Shit's easy as fuck, just learn how to position yourself in the map, lay traps every time you see a titan that wants to get close and bait out trap+cluster missile combos, etc.

The travel time on Northstar isn't even that high, it's super easy to lead your shots.
