Obviously people shouldn't be allowed free roam to centcomm whenever they want within the round, but there should be some way for the ship to evac at the same time the shuttle and pods leave. left needs to stay independent, it's the input. I want to keep it 100% oxygen. Right is where the output from the shard comes out, so it's only linked to the left by the filters to push the oxygen it sucks out back in. I'm using vents and the coolant control instead of scrubbers and such.

The very first thing you should do is tell your coworkers and the CMO that you're new. It will let them know that you shouldn't be expected to make the cryomix.

Then start making basic medication for the 4 basic damage types : Kelotane, Dermaline, Dexalin, Bicaridine and Anti-toxin. Read through the list of chemicals on the wiki and try to guess what's useful. If you play rounds as a non-chemist, take a look in the fridge to see what kind of meds the chemists usually make.

Once you've gotten used to making basic meds, try making a basic cryomix by putting clonexadone and cryoxadone in a beaker. Add ryetalyn and alkysine as those solve the two most common problems with new clones (brain damage and genetic issues). Ask for tips from your coworkers and ask them what they need.

A well stocked fridge usually has a decent amount of pills to cure any sort of ailments you can have. This includes all the damage type (including genetic, brain and radiation), status effects such as deafness and blindness and meds that can help with pain and slowdown.

Some chemicals shouldn't be easily accessible, such as lube, acid (except if asked by a mechanic, engineer or scientist) or poisons. Some jobs want some kinds of chemicals : Janitor needs ammonia / space cleaner, engineers like having sulfuric acid, the botanist likes having unstable mutagen and the bartender can ask you for a wide variety of chemicals for drinks, you can ask him for special liquids you can't normally get for more advanced chemicals too !

I have two questions that I have not been able to answer myself

How do I dispense chemicals which were added to a janicart?

And how do I remove someone being cloned from the cloner, in order to drunk them into the cryo mix chemicals? The last time I tried the cloner said unlocked but would not eject the patient no matter how many times I tried through the right click menu.
