I generally find the character cast of the games interesting, so I play the games to get to know them better. The trials are also pretty fun. Gotta agree about the husbandos in V3, they're all good. I also don't see myself really disliking any of the characters, I think the cast was pretty strong and got plent of interactions outside latching onto the protagonist.

Although part of me wonders whether Kaede being the protagonist could have been more interesting, the lengths people go to justify their salt over Saihara being the protagonist in a game whose plot is as much a mystery as the cases really shows how the truth vs lies/fiction vs reality theme works in NDRV3's favor.

There's nothing wrong with thinking she could have been a fun an refreshing protagonist, but there were many signs towards the contrary, the demo datamine had irrefutable proof she wouldn't stay the protagonist and you could say people did indeed get deceived by her because they wanted to be deceived.

He's a constant reminder that you can never reach the truth without being able to doubt, and something that falls easily into your lap can't be called the truth because it was never something you thought hard about.
