Ok, I made this cute to farm crystal mine (I kill the bosses faster than my r8 classes because of the agny power spike+five hammer vs low level scaled bosses).

But now I got to the rank 5 advancement.

I have plans to turn this into an alchemist...one day because I hated the pyromancer gameplay, so boring.

My options are:

Linker c2: 8 links, everyone loves this for grinding, might be good when doing awakenings? OR c1 link is 'enough'? I Have the JP gem so...

Thauma c1: I made the girl to test pyromancer and hunt crystal mines. c1 thauma allows to swell 5 mobs already! Plus, a little bit more matk on swell left arm

Pyro 3: More firepower to my fireballs, Firepillar lv 10, and etc.

Help me, /tosg/. I'm 99% going thauma. So cute!

The most fun this game had was when there was open pvp in the form of guild wars and shit.

I honestly believe that if they made a channel for each map an open pvp, where parties and guildies were friendly and everyone else was enemies, while doubling or giving exp and drops a multiplier for each star of the map it would fix a lot of things. It'd make organised groups for grinding and farming a lot of fun, I could just imagine all the senpais in a guild protecting a grinding group from other faggots.

Even if it does flop, no one will complain about getting multiplied exp and drops.

Thaum1 isn't actually too bad as just a filler class, gives swell left, transpose and swell body. Which lets you go full int, swell left gives about 300+ matk by the time you hit r7. Also thaum costume is qt.

I do agree though that link2 is the best option for anon in terms of the build but really they can't go wrong with pyro anything now. With fireballs ticking for 10k+ on the shittiest of pyros now.

I agree with www.raphkoster.com/games/snippets/a-uo-postmortem-of-sorts/ in that PVP servers(channels) don't work and that the population can't be counted on to protect themselves. Griefers want to grief, people don't want to be griefed. It would take more than a small bribe to get people on the pvp servers.

I think sorc is probably the least fun class. It's even more of a do-one-thing class than ele. And even with that one skill, you're only allowed to use one card. Also, for the archer skills, remove some points of full draw in favor of lv 1 oblique shot and save a few more for keeling shot. I'm saying SAVE those points, because they're going to change some things about cannoneer + kneeling shot bazooka combo and maybe lv 5 could be worth.

I leveled my kino 3 with a lv 5 red gems five hammer full con without trouble. I even did a lot of questing on the earlier rank 8 maps

you can grind storage, quest all the rank 7 maps, explore maps (most r8 maps are easy to explore), siauliai exp now is good even at 300+, and there's the 290 dungeon. after you hit the 290, you can stay there + siauliai up to 317 in less than a week or you can tryhard grind tymeris, all you had to do is shout a party and says: WE HAVE LINKER

Musketeer 2 alone works as a whole class, you just fit in enough early damage/aoe damage/utility/dps boost with your early ranks

literally everything works, like getting qs 1 for super utility shield/caltrops for pvp or three to use running shot as a filler and to level early

hunter 2 for pvp, sapper 1 for utility 2 for aoe, scout 1 for overall usefulness + some aoe dps and ofc course pvp, ranger 3 for extra damage buffs or ranger 1 + rogue 1 for extra damage plus feint+barrage, sneak attack and utility capture, rogue 2
for backstab and mad weapon switches + pvp, wugushi to fill in rotations with decent dps, falconer for overall party utility, some tricky infinite aoe attacks (as anon said, small hitbox) or pvp (falconer is great for 2x2 pvp were hunter musket excels as tier A build), even fletcher 2 for bleeding pvp memes + a somewhat weak magic arrow works oh and of course, archer c2 for swift step

I think that the only class you'll want to avoid is SR 1, lol

It's pretty good, I think it provides a 3% accuracy penalty per level to enemies in the area as well as the hp regen and it'll do its thing while you channel Melstis. Within ET it might be less useful since the focus is on maintaining invincibility but it's good for leveling and stuff.

How is Wiz 3 Ele 3 Necro Sage? I feel like there's still a use for elememes since their damage doesn't really require as much setup but Warlock 2 is just kinda bad.

Let's guess what the new R9 classes will be. Not that we'll ever see them. There will a dual pistol class that SR's will jizz over and pied piper that will have a long silence around them.

Matador will let fencers stay fencers and a some dual wield sword class, which will also be able to be used with doppel and corsair skills.

Wiz's will get a class that boosts all summons making necro relevant and a class that makes elememes cry even more, it will be holy element.

Clerics will get shepherd, a better priest with actual combat ability, and macabre however the fuck you spell it that will have huge nukes.

It will be Shadowmancer, Mimic, and Onmyouji for wizards.

Shadowmancer will be another bullshit dark damage class that's weak against most enemies in the game. It will have synergy with fucking nothing and will have stupid attributes like +15 dark damage when standing on a shadow or some shit like that.

Mimic will be able to steal skills from players, but like other classes before it, it will be nerfed within weeks and you won't be able to obtain or use any good skills.

Onmyouji will be a hidden class, just like the other Japanese classes, and will probably have some stupid op skill like them and a bunch of okay-to-shit other skills. They'll probably have shikigami which will either be like Sorc C4 or like Paladin's conversion, and require some money to buy paper to make them. Maybe they'll get to summon a cute fox or something. Maybe.
