Out of the 50+ classes there are less than a dozen that are relevant in PvP, with like 4 or 5 metabuilds being all that matters on top of whale gear.
Servers are so dead that the "best" guild is simply which one manages to field the most meta build whales in the limited 15 player slots for GBL matches (if you can consistently get 10 metawhales to participate you can be top 3 in Klaipeda already).
There is absolutely no strategy in PvP, it all boils down to spamming area control skills while trying to keep your allies immune to everything through broken clerics skills and CC'ing your opponents through broken wizard skills, while using one-hit KO skills to kill them whenever their immunities expire. Attempting to crash the enemy's client by abusing its terrible optimization is also a viable alternative, though most seasoned guilds will literally hack the client to disable skill effects and prevent the insane frame rate drop during "large" scale PvP.

There is no territory control, the closest there was was open world GvG where you could declare war on any guild whose guild tower you could find and then bully them out of maps, including dungeons and mission instances. Then the developers removed the ability to kill inside instances (and forgot to remove that feature from their Steam page) and made it so guilds can enable pussy mode so that they cannot be wardec'd. This means no one does open world GvG anymore because there's nothing to gain by not enabling pussy mode, so everyone does and there are no guilds left to declare war on.

There are no relevant rewards in any PvP mode anymore. 2v2 and 5v5 PvP award points that cap daily after 5 victories or 10 losses, which means if you want to farm them you can just afk inside. Alternatively you can get twice as many points from a PvE daily activity. GvG rewards used to be relevant (premium currency) until the devs realized they were giving away thousands of dollars every week and removed it.

And it's still doing pretty well, especially if you consider how retarded the developers are (they just disable old content and roll out shitty new dungeons, forcing people to commit their lives to never-ending gear treadmill). I'd literally paint my pants brown if they'll announce 2nd expansion someday (or even better − a new MMO with similar combat mechanics).

BnS on the other hand... IMO there was nothing good except the fluidity of your character's movement (it felt way more natural compared to TERA).
