Druids are way better tanks than warriors in 5mans. They can also off tank in raids.
Priests are not the "only viable healer", shamans and pallies can be just as good and the buffs they provide are very needed. Druid healers are also needed for brezz and motw but they're pretty bad.
You've got this unhealthy idea that only certain classes are "good" but in all honesty every class has its place and can do good if you put the time in. Some are just easier than others.
