I levelled my shaman to cap 2nd then dropped it because enhancement was boring me at about 840 ilvl

Came back to try Ele and am now 880 with metronome, whispers and 2-set. It's pretty fun, but you have to accept you're doomed to be middle of the pack due to burst phase being so crucial to the class. Ridiculously strong in M+ though.

Honestly as someone with the EotTN ring that promotes it's use even further for minmaxing, it isn't -that- much more complex.

You basically save Stormkeeper for movement if it can be done-so properly. Icefury acts as gravy to that if it lines up right.

It's basically just making sure you can dump the 4 charges of frost shock Icefury gives you:

>with max maelstrom for huge crits/dps
>without losing any ticking charges of stormkeeper
>without sitting on a lava surge proc so that the next one is wasted
>without elemental blast sitting off CD
>without overcapping maelstrom by inserting icefury into your rotation

I'm not really a perfect player and am trying to manage my maelstrom use more efficiently, but it does make a world of difference given the likelihood of a capped earth shock crit.

It just has more to manage over the unga-bunga style of popping ascendance with everything else and letting flame shock sit

Look Blizzard, I really like your game. I love it infact. I want to be doing mythic raids like my guild members, but I cannot because I do not get legendaries that put me at the same level as everyone else. I am seriously contemplating quiting the game entirely because I received Roots of Shaladrassil, a utility legendary that does not increase my DPS (damage per second). I cannot continue enjoying your game if I cannot be the same level as everyone else.

Shit, Resto Shamans have 4m health? It's more likely closer to 90k which is less than Prydaz. That it contributes to CBT is nice and all but not really relevant considering a Rogue with Leeching Poison is going to be doing as much healing as those legs. 20% more duration to HTT is going to be better in almost every situation.

I was suspicious that Hyjal would've done that, because they said I had to help ALL the druids, and there were like 4 or 5 of them, and I couldnt quite remember who I had helped fully, but I assumed I had helped them all as much as I could. I worked my way through Geddon, throwing baby bears out a tree, helping the turtle, the wolf spirit, killing some dark iron dwarves, and then trying to save Aviana. I thought I did a thorough job but maybe I just hit 85 and they decided I was too high level, despite that being the relavent lvl cap for Cata.

The elephant in the room that nobody really talks about is that the game simply has less of a draw since WoTLK. People who grew up with WC3 have moved on, WoD was an attempt to recapture the WC2 generation and frankly I'm impressed it worked as well as it did. They're not running out of material, but they have long since run out of _meaningful_ material. After that all they have to coast on is actual day-to-day gameplay, and honestly, NONE of the expansions have done that well. The real thing you need to keep in mind is that 100k hps isn't ticking 100% of the time, especially if you're competent as a player.

During a boss encounter, all combat resurrection spells now share a single raid-wide pool of charges that’s visible on the action bar button.
Upon engaging a boss, all combat resurrection spells will have their cooldowns reset and begin with 1 charge. Charges will accumulate at a rate of 1 per (90/RaidSize) minutes.
Example 1: A 10-player raid will accumulate 1 charge every 9 minutes (90/10 = 9).
Example 2: A 20-player raid will accumulate 1 charge every 4.5 minutes (90/20 = 4.5).
A charge will only be deducted when a combat resurrection is successful (when the target accepts the resurrection).
Raid frames now show a debuff indicating that a dead player has a pending combat resurrection available.
Outside of raid boss encounters, combat resurrection spells retain their normal cooldown behavior.
