Can someone please tell a noob midlaner how to handle enemy roaming?

This sequence of events always happens:
>I get a little behind in lane for whatever reason
>I stand back a bit so I don't die
>enemy laner disappears and I don't see them walk through any of my wards
>I ping missing, and danger on any overextended lane(s)
>somehow enemy laner kills one or two of my teammates anyways
>they flame me for not following
>happens a couple more times and enemy mid gets fed off of doing this alone

Well if you make something extremely ornate and gritted you get fucking Aatrox and he's just unpleasent to look at.

While new Galio isn't a great design the aspects of what makes one good are there. The simple color scheme is pretty easy to look at, the stone work color makes him seem old as some gaurdian. The joints feel like pieces to a shadow of the colossus-type creature though the cod-piece is questionable as fuck and could have been toned down.

I don't like his feet, too small, borderline looks like a Male Draenai from WoW. My biggest complaint is his really boring face honestly, not his silhouette.

Its not a good design but I see what they were going for. Though the marketting team makes no fucking sense advertising him as a dude bro champion unless his ultimate is Thor from Smite in which he's gonna have an AOE teleport.

The champion had some cool stuff going for him but he was a total shit pick unless it was used a direct counter to some burst heavy mage and even then he gets outranged half the time. Mordekaiser would be more balanceable if he didn't have direct damage to shield conversion. Something %based per enemy hit would make him way less feast or famine.

Possibly reward him for keeping his shield high the same way Aatrox fills up his blood gauge and gets AS, or how Trynd gets crit based on fury.

One of my biggest issues with Mordekaiser in general has been how he's essentially forced into having to having to build AT LEAST 3+damage items to remain a relevant threat compared to other juggernauts who can get away with 1-2 and then fallback on their tank stats.
