I feel like the damage on probe turrets is really very strong but they don't last long enough to use as like a stationary defense somewhere. The best use for them is warding off stealthies with the full turret build and that's it.

It's one turret that lasts for 11 seconds and is unusable for the first second, does pathetic damage, can't be manually targeted and doesn't even prioritize heroes.
Even if you take the talent that reduces the cooldown every time it hits a hero, you only get an overlap of about 2-3 seconds before your first turret dies. Not to mention that the turret is utterly countered by summons or simply killing the pylon or turret itself.


I see Probius being a niche pick for maps like Blackhearts bay or tomb of the spider queen, where you can use pylon overcharge to reliably zone out the enemies from turning in the objective

Probius is a specialist, meaning his viability will always vary by match.

Right now he's insanely good at locking down areas, so he could be good on maps like Sky Temple, Infernal Shrines, Battlefield, Braxis, Blackheart, and Spider Queen.

She has low damage, her speed isn't enough anymore and she dies very fast. someone like Valeera at 20 can blow her up in 1 or 2 seconds.

Her 20% base movement speed is actually pretty weak, she has no burst either, her slow is also completely garbage. She is only for spread damage, she has the lowest burst of any assassin by a fair amount.

Even if that were the case, if you're picking Gazlowe for the lazer build, you're better off picking a ranged Assassin that can clear., or... just pick Probius.

I'll continue playing on the PTR, but it just feels like Gazlowe didn't really gain much, while Probius is an infinitely more useful Gazlowe due to how mobile HIS kit is. He doesn't have to REALLY worry about his setup being destroyed and then being useless, because his Ws cant be destroyed, and they're nothing but beneficial.

Probius also has very little mana problems to help support his caster-ish nature. Gazlowe can run OOM pretty fast if you're too spammy with his shit. So to re-iterate, if you're going lazer, you're better off picking Probius now. Gazlowe's turrets can't be relied upon for consistent usage, especially considering they fucking nerfed the damage on them for NO reason.

Should also be noted that Probius' Pylons are also talented to help buff teammates, so even if HIS turrets are down, if his Pylon remains, he's still getting value out of it, so there's that over Gazlowe too.

They don't focus heroes, which causes anti-synergy with talents and functionality since they are meant to ward off attackers on Probius.

HP is fine after mineral quest is done, Reveal is nice, damage is fine, but the focusing thing really kills them.

Also the cooldown is 12 seconds and the duration is 11 second (10 because of spawn animation) and if the pylon is killed they shut off. Pylon cooldown is 15 seconds which sucks dick if they focus your pylons down, shuts the hero down because everything you do is to tied to the structures. Turrets not focusing nearby heroes makes getting close enough to kill the pylon easy and kills the "tower defense/prep time" hero fantasy.

Just needs work.

Each shot is like 400+ damage at 20 with talents, and trust me, if it force targeted heroes over minions it would be much scarier for the receiving end. Azmodan and tanks might still not care, but a squishy mage or stealthie getting blasted would matter a lot.
