Why would un'goro reduce aggro?
They make expansions at least two in advanced, if not much further than that given that when they had the mtg guy in to give advice on an expansion they confirmed that it was this year's winter expansion.
They only now admitted that snowbally 1 drops are a problem, despite the fact they should have learned that lesson years ago.
And they have admitted that they have never actively tried slowing down the meta because they feel the meta slows itself down and they always want the game to be quick and playable for the people who only have 5 minutes on a train ride.

They will not reduce aggro as an active measure, and the oppressive 1 drops won't stop until next year, which is probably when we'll also see the first rogue card that justifies the flurry nerf.

The card heals, which means you need to take damage prior to playing it. It also needs to be buffed first to be useful. Presumably it needs to sit in your hand for a dozen turns first before you play it, so why the fuck does it have low stats?

Gang of mystical thief-ningas theme is making really big golems. Xaril """"poison""" cards are buff cards except for 1 nuke. Rogue still have only 5(?) weapon synergy cards(and 4 of them are just "gibe damage") despite having "create weapon" as heropower. Warrior has a card that gains armor, aka a better heal, based on the damage a minion deals.

It's a taunt but not legendary minion so you can have 2.

Hunter has a card that deals damage to enemy hero based on the damage a minion deals.

It is legendary but no taunt so your opponent ignores it.

3 cards for the goons with similar effects but one is dog shit, one has decent use and the most overpowered one with the best effect isn't even a legendary and you can play two of it, and is pretty much a staple in every control deck.

The ladder system rewards you for winning. The faster you win, the faster you rank up. Therefore, people will gravitate towards faster, aggressive decks so that games are decided faster.

In term of powerlevel, it's nowhere near Rag. In fact I doubt it would be even usable in Shadowverse since by turn 8-9 people start dropping their "I win" buttons left and right.
But the card itself is fucking cool. That's what a big drop should look like, cool, unique effect and pose some sort of threats. Big drops in HS are fucking lame as hell. Summon tokens, deal damage, just generic shit. Blizzard needs to step the fuck up their game.

A question for handlock players:
How do you deal with the mirror when it becomes a race for combo? I know the rng aspect of the game, but even if i manage to squeeze thaurisan -> jaraxxus + infernal on an empty board I can never seem to gain enough tempo to establish the combo.

I've gone matches where I prepare with armor potion in hand and get a cost reduction on 2 pieces, but either i get out-valued in trades for playing a 5/5 on turn 6 or the other guy goes full greed combo with soulfire before I can get mine off. Is it just variance?

When you factor in that a pack only contains 5 cards, and the abysmal drop rate of Epic/Lego cards, HS packs are overpriced as hell.

They need to make it 8 cards a pack, or improve the drop rate for a pack to be worth 1 dollar. As it is I think $1 dollar should buy you 3 packs.
